There's going to be a big "Treasure Sale" in Winslow tomorrow, May 10th, from 10a - 3pm. It will be happening at the Winslow Community Center, 396 Van Buren Ave, behind the old rock school building & library. We are only 1 booth of many, many booths that have fun & amazing things for your browsing pleasure.
The WCAS Volunteer Team members will be there with all sorts of treasures for your 4 footed family members, or their pet parents. There will be all sorts of items, from pet costumes to collars, leashes, food bowls, lots of kitty items too! As always, we will be making custom engraved pet ID tags for only $5 each & have Snuffle Mats for only $10 each. We also have things that any mom would like, such as pet themed suncatchers made by one of our volunteers, Hope to see you tomorrow!

Please note that the address of the Washington County Animal Shelter has changed. The location is the same. When they built the new road access off of Hwy 71 (School St) they gave the shelter a new address.

We will be having a new volunteer orientation tomorrow at 10:30am at the Washington County Animal Shelter. Volunteers of all ages are welcome but volunteers under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Come hear all the ways you can help the pets at the shelter until they find their forever homes. The Shelter is closed to the public on weekends so knock on the main door & a member of the Volunteer Team will let you in.

The WCAS Volunteer Team will be participating in the Goshen Farmers Market Fall Festival this evening, 5pm-7pm. We will be making custom engraved pet ID tags for only $5 each, and will have pet Snuffle Mats for only $10. What is a Snuffle Mat? Come on out & visit our booth. See you there!

The WCAS Volunteer Team will be at Shire Fest tomorrow, 11a-5p.
We will be making custom engraved pet ID tags for only $5 each. We also will be featuring our volunteer made Snuffle Mats for only $10 each. If you've never been to Shire Post Mint, you MUST come out & see how amazing it is. They will be doing free tours of the factory throughout the day. You wouldn't want to miss seeing the vintage machines they use to make coins & other products. There will be food trucks, and the best coffee & tea shop ever. So come on out to meet the volunteers & other vendors.

The WCAS Volunteer Team will be having a fundraiser event this Saturday, May 18th, 9a - 1p at Trailside Coffee Company in downtown Springdale. We sill be making custom engraved Pet ID tags on site for $5 each and featuring handmade Snuffle Mats for $10. Find our booth inside the Trailside Coffee Co. so come on it & check us out while you enjoy a beverage from Trailside Coffee.

The WCAS Volunteer Team is participating in the NWA PAW Shelter Showcase this Sat, March 9th, from 10am until 2pm at the Best Friends Pet Resource Center. They will be bringing adoptable dog, Laurel, to the event in hopes that she will find her forever home.
Laurel is a very sweet 6 year old Plott Hound mix who loves the outdoors and spending time with her favorite humans (which is anyone who spends time with her and gives her scritches). She's a little shy at first but warms up to her "new friends" very quickly, especially if they offer her a treat.
Come meet Laurel and WCAS Volunteer Team member, Jason, on Saturday. She will win you over in a heartbeat & ask you to give her a chance to be your bestie. Laurel has enjoyed her time at the Washington County Animal Shelter but says she is ready to find her forever loving family.
Best Friends Pet Resource Center is located at 1312 Melissa Dr, in Bentonville, AR.

These are great gifts for the pet lover on your Christmas gift list. Tractor supply also has all sorts of toys, treats & supplies for your pets. Come on out & visit us!

Treat yourself to a delicious meal & help the dogs & cats at the Washington County Animal Shelter!

Logan's Roadhouse in Fayetteville is graciously holding a fundraiser to benefit the WCAS Volunteer Team as they provide whatever the Washington County Animal Shelter needs to give comfort & care for the shelter pets awaiting to get their "forever homes".
You MUST have a paper copy of this flyer for Logan's to donate back the %15 from your total bill on Monday, Dec. 4th between 5pm - 8pm. You can dine in or order take-out online (code is on the flyer).

Come one, Come all, to Shire Fest on Sat, Nov. 4th, 11a - 5p. It's free & will be a lot of fun. The WCAS Volunteer Team members will be there to custom engrave pet ID tags for only $5 each & have various giveaways. The Costume Contest is still on so feel free to dress up & win a prize! Listen to live music while you browse the vendors' booths or grab a bite. Make sure you take a tour of the Minting workshop. It is amazing! There's something to please everyone!
