Flokey Farm is at it again this weekend, and this time we are doing some work for a very dear friend of ours who has helped us out in a very big way! We pulled some trees out, cleaned up weeds, and dropped some gravel for her driveway! Without further ado, here is Live! From the DRIVE...way! Jared Coderre

A little bit of kitten enrichment for the swat team! Some minnows in a huge pan makes for fun times with the farm kittens!

Here at Flokey Farm, the bees are filling up the honey frames! We pulled some from our wintered hives, it was thick and dark, so nice and sweet!
As quickly as it was pouring into the bottles was as quickly as it was sold. It was a very limited supply!
This honey is from our overwintered colonies that popped early spring…a little darker, still the same sweet honey from Central Virginia.
We will be running another harvest in a couple weeks, and will be taking orders! Stay tuned for the post!

It’s the Friday edition of Live! From the Hive! Today our favorite beekeeper Jared is going thru the process of seed planting for a fall harvest for the bees! Weather has been dry in Central Virginia, and as beekeepers we have to sometimes give Mother Nature a little hand! Enjoy!
