This handsome guy is in a temporary foster home while our Park Hills ACO is out on medical leave. When he went to get his vaccines, he unfortunately tested positive for heartworms 💔

His vet bill for today (vaccines, heart worm tests, and meds to start his treatment) was $300. He still has two more treatments to go, totaling another $680. We want to cover the treatment so this guy can be happy and healthy when he goes to his forever home, but that means we need to raise nearly $1,000 for him over the next three months.

Please help us make this possible by donating if you can and sharing our post. As always, thank you!!

Delilah is home and adjusting well and getting lots of love. 💕

Page - although she doesn’t appear so in her photo - is back to her old playful self and enjoying life to the fullest. 🥰

None of these would be possible without you - our support squad - so THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

Update: Freddy (as he’s now being called) suffered a very traumatic injury to his back leg. Based on the open wound and his broken leg and hip, the vet thinks that he was caught in something and pulled himself free, breaking the bones in the process 😭 The good news is that Freddy received the best care from Orchard Hills Veterinary Clinic and now he’s at home healing and learning to live his best life as a tripod kitty. Total care for Freddy was $660 - if you can help us recoup that cost, that would be amazing! 🫶

We were made aware of an injured stray cat that needs to be seen for what is most likely a broken leg. We’re working with the finder to get him into a vet ASAP, and we’ll need help covering the cost.

If you can donate, we’d really appreciate it. And please don’t underestimate just how much of a difference sharing our posts can make as well.

As always - THANK YOU!! xoxo

What do you do when you see someone giving puppies away at Walmart? You offer to pay for their mama dog to be spayed, of course.

I know we might catch a little bit of heat for this one, but we’re trying to fix the problem at the source. If you can donate to this cause, we’d be very grateful!

🚨Emergency Surgery Needed! 🚨

This is Page. She is suffering from Pyometra, which, if left untreated, is fatal. The only alternative to emergency surgery in this case is euthanasia, and her human mom is on a fixed income and really doesn’t want to lose her baby.

Rough estimate for the surgery is around $600. I know we can raise the funds needed to save this girl - can you help??

This fellow has moved into the Farmington school district’s bus shed and unfortunately can’t stay there 😅

He’s got a barn home lined up, but we’re going to get him vetted first so that he doesn’t go into any more strange buildings looking for a girlfriend 👀

Can you help us with those costs?? We’d really appreciate it 🫶

Update: Unfortunately, Delilah not only has a fractured back leg, but a fractured hip as well, which means she will need an amputation. The good news is that dogs like Delilah typically excel as tripod babies, and she’s lucky enough to have a family that loves her very much and will give her all the care she needs.

Her initial exam and treatmentent today was $280 and the surgery will be between $600-650. We’d like to be able to cover as much of that cost as possible, so please share her post so we can do what we do. 🫶

This is Delilah. She got out of her yard and was hit by a car. 😢

Her family loves her very much but needs help getting her to the vet.

This pretty little girl was set to be euthanized tomorrow, but we got her spayed and vaccinated and she was adopted just in the nick of time!

Total cost was $220 (and worth every penny, in our opinion!)

Update: total cost for these three was $208. Please help us make that up by donating and sharing!

The three pups who were found late last night dumped at Davis Crossing are currently safe and we’re going to cover their vetting!

Here’s what we need:

☑️ A rescue tag and/or a temporary foster - the person currently holding them can only keep them for a few days.
☑️ Donations to help cover the cost of their vetting - shots, dewormer, flea and tick meds, and heartworm testing and preventative. All that times three gets costly!

As always, thank you for your support and if you can’t foster or donate, please share!!

Pupdate: Jac is home and healing after his surgery this morning! We were able to lessen his family’s financial burden slightly and they are so incredibly thankful to you all!! 💕 (Pic of Jac this evening in the comments!)

🥺HELP NEEDED🐶

This is Jac. He is a lucky boy, very loved and well taken care of, but he had a bit of a freak accident this weekend and broke his leg. (Running across the yard to his human brother and his leg got caught between two steps 😭)

His family has already paid $780 for his initial vet care which included an emergency visit, x-rays, and pain meds. They unfortunately cannot afford the $2,000 for his surgery and have been denied Care Credit. 😩

We desperately want to help Jac and his family out, but we need your help. His surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning, but if we can’t somehow raise the funds by then, he’ll have to wait until Friday. We’d of course rather see him on the road to recovery sooner rather than later.

If you can, please consider donating to Jac’s surgery fund. Any little bit helps!! 💕

Hammy faced a heartbreaking ordeal when she gave birth to four kittens, all of whom sadly did not survive. This loss was compounded by her suffering from a severe vaginal prolapse, which made her condition even more critical. Fortunately, Orchard Hills immediatley got her seen, providing the necessary medical attention. They quickly arranged for her to be examined and treated. During the procedure, the veterinarians were able to successfully repair her prolapse and also spayed her to prevent future complications. With their expertise and care, Hammy is now on the road to recovery, free from discomfor.

Her final bill was $342.
