Avocato Catfé and Adoption Center Where cats, coffee and compassion come together! Welcome to Avocato! Farmington Hills' first tiny cat cafe!

Our catfe' is the purrfect place to stop in for a coffee, snack or a quick bite; or just to spend some time with our adoptable cats and kittens! As a completely volunteer-run catfe' we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to take care of our cats, kittens, and human guests alike. And, as a vegan cafe', we try to do our part to save the planet and other animals as well to make our world better for everyone in it!

If you’ve been at the Catfé over the last several months, there’s a good chance you’ve met Drifty. 😻🤎

Sweet Drifty first came to the Catfé in April and he captured the hearts of visitors and volunteers alike. It’s simply impossible not to fall in love with this sweet boy. He has a heart of gold and loves to love - despite the traumas he’s endured in his short life. ❤️‍🩹 After a short stay at the Catfé in the spring, he had some medical issues that required him to go back to foster for individualized attention.

After a few months, sweet Drifty is BACK!!! And he’s ready for adoption! 🏡♥️

….time to meet your new best friend!! Our huge adoption event at Off Leash K9 Training - right next door to Avocato Catfé is about to start. 🎉 Escape the rain and take refuge amongst dozens of adoptable cats and kittens. ☔️🐈🐈‍⬛

Our volunteers will be setting up shop from 11a-3p today. Please share this post to help spread the word. We have 100+ cats looking to find their home and we’re hoping that this adoption event will help put some of those kitties in their forever homes. 🙏🏡

This Sunday, Aug. 2nd, PAAW, along with PAAW Animal Rescue and Off Leash K9 Training Detroit , are hosting an adoption event at Off Leash K9 Training in Farmington Hills... right next to Avocato Catfé! 🐾💚

Meet all the kittens, cats, and even a dog or two... all looking for their forever home. 🏡

We’ll be setting up shop in Off Leash’s building from 11a-3p and we welcome everyone to stop by and meet the sweetest 4-legged friends at this FREE adoption event! 🐱🐶

Can’t join us? No worries! We just ask that you simply share this post to spread the word. We are hoping for a massive turnout to help get these sweet babies adopted and into their forever homes. Everyone deserves their happy beginnings, especially these loving and innocent beings. ❤

This adorable mother-son duo has anxiously been awaiting their chance for a forever home. 🏡 They were in the enclosures at Petco hoping to catch a passerby’s attention and get adopted. When that didn’t happen they came on over to Avocato Catfé, where they’re still waiting to meet their match. 🥺

✨ Caddy Cat is a young, affectionate mama who loves curling up in your lap, soaking up pets, and purring herself to sleep. She’s calm, social, and dreams of cozy couches and warm beds.

✨ Victor is her playful, sweet son who loves having fun and spending time with people and his mama - they are so sweet together. ♥️

Have you ever seen such a stunning kitty with such rare and beautiful markings? 😻 This queen has such a captivating presence, she’s impossible to forget. 👑

Prima adores being the center of attention (as any true leading lady should!). She’ll weave around your legs asking for pets, happily settle into your arms, and reward you with the sweetest little biscuits. Our favorite move of hers? When she gently reaches up to touch your face with her paw. 🥹

This little diva is just shy of 2.5 years old and is looking for a home where she can be the one and only star. 🌟 She isn’t interested in sharing the spotlight—she wants a family that’s ready to shower her with all the love and attention she deserves.
