Saturday night I witnessed something profoundly moving and heartwarming, and I'm still in awe. We had a client's horse suffer a major seizure. While this was happening, two of his stable mates across from him ate their hay, seemingly unaware of what was happening. While waiting for the Vet, I asked the two other horses to pray with me and help their friend. The horses started making small but distinctive noises to him.
It was as if they were trying to help him and were cheering him on with support. It was truly amazing to witness something like this. Their gentleness, quietness, and softest energy was something I'll never forget.
Im also so thanful to Dr Nico Busse, of Coastal Elite, for coming out so quickly and helping this beautiful boy.
For those of you who think horses are dumb animals, I hope this helps you understand just how wonderful they are. I consider myself so blessed to be able to take care of them, and just be with them every day.
