501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and building awareness for homeless dogs

The goal of Cane Rosso Rescue is to find homes for dogs who have been abandoned at shelters or whose owners who can no longer care for them. We are looking for fosters, adopters and volunteers who can help transport dogs to their homes. Donations are needed to pay for medical care and other expenses and can be made via PayPal at [email protected].

‼️Foster needed for a female Chocolate Lab/Pointer mix.

Mocha’s story started with her simply showing up one day.

She wandered onto a property as a stray…skinny, hungry and clearly in need of some help. The kind people who found her fed her, cared for her, and searched for her family. They hoped someone would come looking for the sweet girl who had somehow found her way to their doorstep.

😢 But no one did.

No owner was found. No microchip. No one claimed her. And no one came looking for her.

Choices are very limited for a dog in Mocha’s situation and most of them sadly end with euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter.

We’d love to give her story a different ending. Cane Rosso Rescue would love to bring her into our program and find her a home. We need a foster to say yes to giving her a safe and secure place to stay while we find her a forever home.

We were deceived by an owner and we honestly couldn’t be happier about it.

Backstory: We agreed to intake a Doodle/Cavapoo mix named Maggie. She was in need and a rescue partner in South Texas engaged us for some help.

We went back and forth for weeks trying to find her a foster and get her up to DFW area on a transport. We got it all sorted out and plans were made.

Well, she finally arrived ….. and….she has a huge mass on her inner right leg that was NEVER mentioned. Not once. Nothing. Nada.

Foster called us immediately and alerted us that she had this mass and we started to deep dive into what exactly was going on.

😡Upon further questioning of what we had unexpectedly just gotten into, we were literally told “I have no idea, I didn’t really see it, I haven’t paid attention to her in months”. WHAT?????

How could someone say that about this sweet angel who couldn’t be any more of a good dog if she tried?!? Our hearts broke hearing the disregard for this wonderful little living being who appears to be made of sugar, she’s so sweet. She literally smiles all day and craves being pet.

🩷So you see why we’re happy? She’s out of that situation and will never, ever have to be unloved, not cared for and starved for attention again. We’re happy because she’s a Cane Rosso Rescue dog now and we will care for her and give her all the love she’s been missing and treat her exactly like the princess she is.

➡️ Current situation: We are now facing the obstacle of the funds needed to take on this very unexpected medical issue with Maggie. We are fundraising for her needed care that has been neglected…. And it’s expensive.

🙏We humbly ask and appreciate any donations made to help us figure this out with Maggie. She is worth it to us, her life matters to us when it didn’t to others and we’re going to make sure we give her the best life we can.

Meet Dottie, a 7-month-old Pointer/Terrier mix with the sweetest face, the happiest personality, amazing ears and a whole lot of puppy love to give!

Dottie is fun, playful, affectionate, curious, and always up for an adventure — followed, of course, by a good puppy nap. 😉 She’s currently fostered with other dogs and absolutely loves having canine friends around, so she’d be a great addition to a home with another playful pup!

Dottie got a rough start when she and her littermates found themselves in a crowded shelter. We couldn’t leave them there, so Cane Rosso Rescue scooped them up and promised to find each of them the wonderful families they deserve. ❤️

Now it’s Dottie’s turn. 🥹

Quinn is a very typical Vizsla, she’s total Velcro and wants to be around her people all the time. She rides well in the car and came from a home environment, so she’s used to the home/family lifestyle.

She was recently relinquished to our veterinary office, and they reached out to us to see if we could help her find the home she deserves. And we’re pretty sure her new people are out there somewhere.

She’s friendly, social, playful, and FUN. She loves toys, loves being around people, and has that classic terrier personality of investigating and being involved in everything.

🌳 A home with a yard would be ideal because this girl wants room to run, play and be a dog. She’s not looking for anything complicated—just a family who wants a happy little companion to join them for all the good stuff.

💔Update: Nada. Nothing. We have received exactly ZERO applications to help these two dogs in a gravel pit outside in this 110 degree heat. Do you know how hot that must be??!! They will die. It’s not an if, it is a when.

They’re helpless, homeless dogs and all we are asking for is a safe space. Doesn’t anyone have a spare room, a bathroom, a corner of a living room or kitchen you could set up a crate and bring them in? We don’t even care if you love on them at this point, we just want them safe and in some AC. They will die.

Please! We are begging. 🙏 Ask your friends. Neighbors. Co-workers. Family. Need to argue about it with your significant other? Call us on speaker phone and we will help you!

🆘 URGENT: TWO DOGS ARE LIVING IN A GRAVEL PIT.

In this horrible heat.

Multiple dogs have already been killed by the large machinery used in the pit…. It is not safe!

The kind workers at the gravel pit have been doing what they can to help them, but they can’t provide what these dogs desperately need… a home!

These two dogs have no home, no reliable food or water, and nowhere safe to go.

💔This is not a life. And they didn’t choose it.

Please watch the videos in the comments. You’ll see two incredibly sweet, friendly dogs who are simply homeless and waiting for someone to help them.

Cane Rosso Rescue would love to help them!

🏡 We need FOSTER HOMES for them. That’s it.

That’s all it will take to change the lives of these two poor dogs. Just two people to say YES and comitt to helping save a dog with us. Our hands are tied without fosters.

We will get them a bath (!!!), all medical needs and can provide food and supplies. You provide them the home and the love.

🙏Can you foster and give one of these dogs a second chance?? They do not need to stay together.
