Day Care Update:

Good Morning!

We are sending out an update about our Day Care services. Due to high demand, in order to accommodate the number of boarding requests for holiday reservations, we will no longer be offering Day Care the day before a major holiday. These dates will include:

For the remainder of 2025
Sunday 8/31/25
Wednesday 11/26/25
Tuesday 12/23/25
Wednesday 12/31/25

For 2026
Friday 4/3/26 - 4/4/26
Friday 5/22/26 - 5/23/26
Friday 7/3/26
Friday 9/4/26-9/9/26
Wednesday 11/25/26
Wednesday 12/23/26
Thursday 12/31/26

If you currently have a day care reservation for any of these dates and wish to keep that reservation we will honor that. If you currently have a reservation and wish to cancel that please let us know.

Looking for a place to dump those grocery bags that are taking over your cupboard? You're in luck! We use grocery bags for many different things here in our kennel facility and we will happily take them off your hands!

We accept donations far beyond plasitc grocery bags including dog and cat beds, old blankets, towels, rags, p*e pads, and rugs!

Feel free to drop them off at our boarding and grooming desk at our Fargo Location! We thank you a million times over for any and all donations!

Are you passionate about pets, detail-oriented, and skilled in all things grooming? We’re looking for a full-time professional pet groomer to join our growing team at our Fargo boarding & grooming facility!

At Casselton Vet Boarding and Grooming, we pride ourselves on high-quality care and a supportive team environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of pets — from fluffy companions to those requiring a little extra TLC (including pets groomed under sedation with our medical team).

🐾 What We Offer:
✔️ Commission-based pay with strong earning potential
✔️ Consistent weekday hours: Monday–Friday, 12–6 PM + every other Saturday

🔍 What We’re Looking For:
• A minimum of 3 years of professional grooming and bathing experience
• Ability to work with all breeds and coat types
• Strong communication skills and a great team attitude
• Must provide your own grooming tools (clippers, shears, brushes, etc.)
• A portfolio of your work and references for your interview

Warmer weather is here, and so is shedding season! If it feels like your pet is leaving a fur trail wherever they go, don’t worry—it’s totally normal. As the days get longer and temps rise, pets naturally shed their thicker winter coats to stay cool.

🧼 Brush regularly – Daily brushing can make a huge difference! It helps remove loose fur before it ends up all over your house (and your clothes 🙃).
