HR Kolter's Riptide Tobias Star "Tobi"

We are heartbroken to let you all know that Tobi has crossed the Rainbow bridge. From the very beginning, he was a handful! Tobi was my first hunting dog, my first hunt test dog and will always be my favorite piece of chocolate! He taught me so much in the time we had together! His sassy, full speed ahead drive usually got him into a lot of trouble at tests but he didn't care. He could have cared less about passing anything, as long as he got a bird! He loved the birds! The journey that Tobi took me on led me to many places and long lasting friendships, that I am grateful for! Right or wrong along the way, we didn't care and I don't regret any of it! He could make me the happiest handler ever or break my heart with one blow of the whistle but through it all, I loved him!

Say hi to Zeus for us, Tobe! We will see you boys soon! 💔

Kolter's Calamity Jane turns 1 today! Jane is the sweetest girl and loves her pack! She can be somewhat bossy but when push comes to shove, she just wants love! She has made great progress in training and we are excited to see how she develops! Happy Birthday, my Janey girl!

We had another birthday here at the Kolter's! Kolter's There's a Skeeter on my Peter "Skeeter" turned 3 yrs old! Although Skeeter was born on April Fools Day, he is no joke! He runs in FastCat competitions, retrieves bumpers on land and water, herds chickens and keeps the other dogs in check! His favorite thing to do is go on Jeep rides with mom! He may be the smallest of our pack but he has the biggest personality! Happy Birthday, Skeebie! 🐾🎂

We have come to love many dogs in our lives but none will ever compare to you, Goose! You were our first client dog and you made us better trainers! Your absolute driven personality was, most of the time, fun to work with! Of course, you were also trying our very last nerve but your love for us made those time seem trivial! We were all told that you would not make it to achieve your HRCH but together, we proved them wrong! You are going to be missed more than you realized but we will keep a piece of you with us, in Thor! We have just as high hopes for him as we did from you, and if he grows to be even a little bit of the dog you were, we will be pleased! Rest easy, Gooser! We will see you at the bridge!

FCK Kolter's Whiskey Tango Foxtrot "Whiskey" turned 1 today! Whiskey is our first Boykin Spaniel and she has definitely proven herself! She is sassy, smart and has definitely won us completely over! We are so excited for her future and new adventures she will open up for us! It has been one cool year with this girl and we just adore her! Happy Birthday, Whiskey girl! Let the fun begin!

Today, Tobias, you turn 11! I can't imagine my life without you in it. As I watch your face grow more and more white, it reminds me that our time together grows shorter. I am thankful to you for the places you led me and especially the friends that we met along the way! You will always and forever be my favorite piece of chocolate, Tobi! We love you, old man! We would like to welcome Lexi! Lexi is here to clean a few things up before she goes hunting with her dad for the season! Lexi has been a joy to have these past couple days and has made friends very quickly! Lexi has shown that she is eager to get training done so she can go hunting!!

We would like to introduce the newest member of our pack, Jane! Jane comes to us from Wisconsin, from hunting and hunt test pedigrees. She has already shown she will fit in with our crazy bunch! She is sweet and sassy all wrapped up in a cute little package! Here she is, Kolter's Calamity Jane!

This is Star! Star is here for force fetch refreshing and some basic hunt test training! Star is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She has already made great progress and we look forward to seeing her progress even more!
