Like many of you, I was deeply disturbed by the recent incident at the NBHA Professional’s Choice Las Vegas Super Show. As a horse owner, competitor, equine rehabilitation professional, and former leader within the horse community, I believe it is important that the voices of those affected are heard throughout the legal process.

Today, I submitted the attached community impact statement to the Clark County District Attorney’s Office. My goal is simple: to advocate for meaningful accountability, animal welfare, and measures that help prevent future acts of cruelty.

I encourage fellow horse owners, competitors, trainers, industry professionals, and supporters of animal welfare to respectfully share their concerns with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office as well. Community input matters, and thoughtful, professional communication can help demonstrate the far-reaching impact this incident has had on the equestrian community.

This isn’t about anger or retaliation. It’s about protecting animals, supporting responsible horsemanship, and ensuring that those who intentionally harm defenseless animals are held appropriately accountable under the law.

Thank you to everyone who continues to advocate for the welfare and safety of our horses.

Cuda.

This horse has taught me more about patience, trust, and resilience than most people ever will. For almost a year now, we’ve been slowly helping him learn that his body is safe again… and that he is safe again.

This journey hasn’t been a quick fix. It’s been monthly bodywork, osteopathic chiropractic care (by the wonderful Suzie), nutrition changes, ulcer treatment, nervous system support, long days, hard moments, tiny wins, and countless hours of just standing with him and letting him feel heard.

His past involved being mishandled and rushed through training before he was mentally and physically ready. Horses don’t just “get over” those things. They hold onto traumatic memories just like humans do. They become their own biggest protector and their own biggest critic. Every brace in the body, every reaction, every shutdown has a reason behind it.

Watching Cuda start to soften, trust, and finally begin to feel okay in his own body again has honestly been emotional. The horse standing here today is not the same horse from a year ago.

And none of this would have been possible without his owner. She has followed every single part of our program to the T, even when progress felt slow. She has never once put timelines, ego, or expectations above this horse’s wellbeing. She has loved him exactly where he’s at and given him the time he needed to heal properly. That kind of owner is rare.

Healing horses like this is never about forcing them forward. It’s about listening close enough that they no longer feel like they have to fight to be understood.

Hello everyone! I wanted to let you all know that beginning March 5, 2026, my hours of operation will be changing to:

⏰ 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

This adjustment is due to changes in my other employment schedule. I truly appreciate your flexibility and continued support as I make this transition.

We currently have openings for our monthly client days in:

• Fallon
• Silver Springs
• Reno & surrounding areas

These special days allow me to schedule multiple clients in the same area, and the travel fee is split between everyone booked that day — making it more cost-effective for you while keeping your horses feeling their best!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

A few updates from us here at DHF Energetic Touch Equine Massage

As we come to the holidays, I will be blocking off time to spend with family and travel. I will not be in the area even to see immediate cases.
✨November 23-25
✨December 7-10
Please know I will do my best to get everyone in before these dates! If not it will be scheduled once I return.

Working hours will still be Sunday-Tuesday but will be switching hours to 9am-5pm. Exceptions will be made for clients with lights and covered areas to work in.

Also as the holidays approach…. We do GIFT CERTIFICATES!! What better gift than giving back to our animals!🎄✨

I will be putting out more updates as we get closer to end of the year!
We can’t wait to welcome 2026 in with some amazing new things!

Wow…. I am grateful and excited to be making this post.
We have officially been in business for 1 whole year!!
We would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting us in creating and making this dream come true. I have learned so much in my craft and as a business owner. Each client I work with has been absolutely amazing! You all believed in this business and what we stand for.
The coming year will bring many more goals and opportunities to us. We are excited to share those with you.

My amazing clients and supporters!

It is time for a few updates to the business. As our economy continues to make everything expensive, I am implementing some price increases and changes…

✨My regular monthly and normal scheduled horses: $80 (Please message me if you are unsure if you fall in this category)✨

✨New horses (even if a regular client): $150✨

This price addition for new horses was added due to the amount of time and work a new horse takes to being comfortable and out of pain. It includes a full assessment of your horse and all the information you can get out of me! Nutrition, consulting, behavioral issues, etc. (I will not recommend or share any vet/farrier information)

Scheduling a new horse will require a $50 non refundable deposit to secure your date/time. This will go towards your session. This is to protect myself from being canceled on last minute.

Travel cost… any stops that are 30 miles or more from my home location will be a $30 per stop travel fee. Any stop over 75 miles or more will be a $45 travle fee. Locations included in the 30 miles are Red rock, Lemmon Valley, Spanish Springs, Reno/Sparks, Carson, Gardnerville.

These changes will start July 1,2025.
