Here at the City of Fallon Animal Control, myself and the other Animal Control Officers, and our volunteers, strive to provide safe and humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded animals in accordance with Nevada State regulations until a permanent home can be provided. We are also responsible for assuring the timely and effective enforcement of the City of Fallon’s municipal codes and State of Nevada Laws regarding animals within the City Limits of Fallon.

Meet Bentley— The Canine Mayor of Fallon!

At 7 years young, Bentley has perfected the art of loving everyone. If a door is open, he’s not running away — he’s heading out to make a new best friend. His mission in life is simple: find the nearest human and love them immediately.

Bentley is well known around town for his surprise business visits. CVS? Maverik? Safeway? The Bus Sheds? He’s popped in, tail wagging, greeting customers like a seasoned regular. He truly believes every errand is better with a dog along for the ride.

Thanks to his social calendar, Bentley currently holds the all-time record for the most visits to the animal shelter — not because he’s naughty, but because his love for people and adventure knows no bounds. He doesn’t wander to escape; he wanders because the world is full of friends he hasn’t met yet.

This affectionate boy would thrive with a family who can offer a secure yard, some guidance, and plenty of human interaction. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who brings joy, laughter, and community wherever he goes.

If you’re looking for a dog who will love you, your other dogs and cats instantly, enthusiastically, and possibly introduce himself to your neighbors — Bentley is your guy.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Domino (D-5876) is a 2 y.o. Heeler/Border Collie/Pit mix. He’s been an inside/outside dog and we were told he is house trained. He is mostly quiet but will alert if someone is at your door. He can be destructive if he isnt put in a crate when you’re not home. Domino likes to play fetch but also keep away at the same time. He’ll bring it back on his terms! After burning some energy he enjoys cuddling on the couch. Domino is sneaky and will counter surf or get into the trash can if he thinks you aren’t looking. We were told Domino can be leary of small kids.

Domino is a typical adolescent dog with correctable habits. We believe a change of environment will make a world of difference for Domino!

Available for adoption!

This is Billie-Jo (D-5872)! She is 16 weeks old. She was initially found in the desert and possibly dumped. Billie Jo’s finder took her for a Vet check where she received her first puppy vaccine. The Veterinarian believed her to be a beautiful blend of Lab/Mastiff/Anatolian/Great Dane.
