Here at the City of Fallon Animal Control, myself and the other Animal Control Officers, and our volunteers, strive to provide safe and humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded animals in accordance with Nevada State regulations until a permanent home can be provided. We are also responsible for assuring the timely and effective enforcement of the City of Fallon’s municipal codes and State of Nevada Laws regarding animals within the City Limits of Fallon.

𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙄𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙇𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝘼𝘿𝙊𝙋𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉!!!

This is Chunky (D-648). Sometimes life takes a different unexpected turn, and hard choices are made. Chunky was an owner surrender so we do have information on him.
What we were told is that he id a 5 year old, neutered, pitbull mix. He is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained (however does pull).
He is described as a cuddley-couch potato! The previous owner stated she's has taken him to the dog park and he did fine with other dogs.

Meet Romeo (D-647). This sweet boy has made it past his stray hold, and is looking for his new home!
We have limited information, but what we have discovered is he walks well on a leash, and is gentle with treats. He hung out with Oscar the shelter cat and was amazing around him!
His inital meet is that he is shy with strangers, but seems to warm up quick. Especially when children are around.
Once comfortable he turns into a little meatball who loves belly rubs and snuggling up.
