Here at the City of Fallon Animal Control, myself and the other Animal Control Officers, and our volunteers, strive to provide safe and humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded animals in accordance with Nevada State regulations until a permanent home can be provided. We are also responsible for assuring the timely and effective enforcement of the City of Fallon’s municipal codes and State of Nevada Laws regarding animals within the City Limits of Fallon.

Leila is a four-year-old Husky whose soul carries the legacy of the great sled dogs of Alaska's golden age. With her striking coat and intelligent eyes, she embodies the beauty and resilience of those noble companions who answered the call of snow-laden trails and boundless wilderness.

For her entire life, Leila has known the freedom of the open air—the wind through her fur, the vast sky above, the honest work of a dog bred for the wild. She is a creature of strength and grace, shaped by the elements into something magnificent. Yet beneath that hardy exterior beats the heart of a gentle companion. Here at the shelter, Leila has shown us nothing but sweetness and love. She greets our staff with warmth, her tail speaking a language of trust and affection that belies any hardship her past may have held.

Now, Leila stands at the threshold of a new chapter. She is ready to discover what it means to live within four walls—to learn the rhythms of a home, the comfort of a soft bed, the joy of companionship in a different form. MEET ECLIPSE: Your New Adventure Buddy (And Accidental Water Aerobics Instructor)

Eclipse is a two-year-old Golden Retriever mix with one mission in life: to ensure that absolutely everyone around her is having the time of their lives, whether they signed up for it or not.

This girl is friendly—and we mean the kind of friendly that makes her believe every human she meets is her long-lost best friend. The mailman? Best friend. Your neighbor? Best friend. That stranger at the park? You guessed it. Eclipse approaches life with the infectious enthusiasm of someone who has never met a person she didn't immediately want to befriend, which is either endearing or exhausting depending on your tolerance for unbridled joy.

But here's where it gets interesting: Eclipse has apparently decided her true calling is leading water aerobics classes. She is obsessed with water activities and approaches them with the energy of an overzealous fitness instructor who's had one too many espressos. Splash? She's in. Puddle? She's committed. Kiddie pool? She's already mentally choreographing the routines. If you have a backyard with any water feature whatsoever, Eclipse will treat it like her personal aquatic studio, complete with enthusiastic splashing, vigorous swimming, and the kind of full-body commitment that suggests she's training for the Olympics.
