Progress is progress, even if it comes slower than we would like. Shizu is doing so much better but we still have our share of obstacles to work through. A week ago she wouldn’t even make eye contact with me and didn’t want me touching her. She was trying to bolt (on leash) in any direction she could. This morning, we had a nice, early walk and training session. Afterwards, she was willing to accept more contact from me and relax a bit. Good job Shizu!

Rama and Evee are here to hang out and get a brush up while their parents are away 😊 We offer boarding for client’s dogs in a safe and peaceful ranch environment! No big, crazy, noisy kennel facility…just personalized care, quiet (with the exception of Pedro the rooster 😅) and making sure the doggos are well behaved. Because we aren’t a big kennel facility, limited space is available 📱

Reactive dog? It’s a process, not a quick fix. I get lots of inquiries from owners looking to ‘fix’ their dog’s reactivity but not willing to commit to the work necessary to get it under control.

If you’re not ready to commit, this isn’t your ride. Reactivity takes reps, not shortcuts.

Tools? Totally fair game when they’re used with skill and clarity. It’s not the tool that fixes reactivity. It’s solid, consistent training.

If you’re down to show up and do your part, real change is 100% possible. But you’ve gotta be in it.

Welcome Shizu! This adorable little lady will be staying with us for awhile to learn some basics and to help her adjust to some big changes in her life. She’s pretty nervous and wants to bolt in 4 different directions. Not a fan of collars or leads either 😆 Don’t worry Shizu…we got you 🙏
