Our young dog development program is designed to build confident, independent, bird-crazy pointing dogs with the right foundation for a lifetime in the field. For young pups, the focus is not pressure — it’s exposure, confidence, and letting natural instinct develop the right way. We introduce dogs to birds, new environments, gunfire, and field situations at a pace that keeps them excited and wanting more.

Our program focuses on:
• Bird introduction & prey drive development
• Building confidence in the field
• Introduction to quartering and searching objectives
• Recall & basic obedience foundations
• Proper socialization & kennel manners
• Gunfire introduction done correctly
• Developing independence while maintaining cooperation
• Early steadiness and handling basics

A strong start makes all the difference later in advanced training and hunting situations. Whether your pup is destined for hunt tests, wild birds, or simply becoming the best hunting companion possible, early development matters.

Truman is a 2.5 year old loyal, intelligent dog looking for a fresh start in a home where he can truly thrive. He forms strong bonds with his people and loves attention, structure, and having a job to do.
