Started Dog Up for Discussion: Drake, 5 year old neutered male.

Drake is not from Bearded Gundogs but we have worked with him, he's a nice young dog. He thrives as an indoor dog—cuddling on the couch, relaxing with the family, and being part of everyday life—but he also has a strong desire for the outdoors and would be happiest with someone who can give him the hunting lifestyle he was born for.

✨ About Him:
• Family-friendly & gentle — He absolutely loves kids and enjoys being around people.
• Great with other pets — Gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is respectful of cats, letting them do their own thing.
• The perfect balance — He loves roaming and exploring outside, but equally loves coming inside for snuggles.
• Well-mannered at home — When we’re gone, he quietly rests on his dog bed or the couch and waits patiently. He does not destroy items or get into trouble.
• Trained & responsive — Trained with an e-collar and listens well to commands. It has been a little while since he last hunted, so a refresher would help him get back into the swing of things.

✨ Why We’re Rehoming:
This is a very difficult decision for us. Due to a major career change, we have been and will continue to be relocating often and can no longer give him the time, stability, and outdoor activity he deserves. We want him to have a life where he is not just waiting inside for someone to come home, but instead gets to enjoy the outdoors, companionship, and purpose he loves.

We are hoping to find a family who will keep him indoors as part of their daily life, but also take him out on adventures and give him the chance to hunt and explore. He truly is an amazing dog with so much love to give.
