One of the sweetest parts of this journey isn’t just baking cakes—it’s getting to be a small part of life’s biggest moments. Seeing the pictures and videos is truly special to me.
Last week I had the honor of creating a gender reveal cake for a wonderful customer, and it reminded me why I took this leap of faith.
For many years, I worked as a banker. It was a career I truly enjoyed, and I was fortunate to build relationships with so many amazing people. Helping families reach financial milestones was incredibly rewarding.

But this… this is something different.

Through Canine Cakes & Sweet Treats, I get to celebrate birthdays, “gotcha days,” adoptions, holidays, and now even gender reveals. I get to watch families grow, celebrate alongside them, hear the wonderful stories of how much their pups mean to them and create something that becomes part of their memories. Being welcomed into these special moments is a privilege I never take for granted.

To everyone who has trusted me with your celebrations—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means more than you know, and I’m so grateful to be part of such an incredible community.
Here’s to celebrating all of life’s milestones, both big and small. ❤️🐾🎂

Due to the extreme summer heat we will be taking a short break from farmers markets. We plan to resume markets in late August or early September!
