Say hi to Roo 👋🏻

This little nugget is a 5-week-old rottie mix. She is a curious, playful pup, and learning about the world one little adventure at a time 🐾

She loves to explore, play, & then crash hard for a cozy nap. Roo is learning basic puppy manners, building confidence, and soaking up comfort and care from people she trusts.

Roo will be ready to go home the week of 6/14 and is looking for her forever home who is excited for all the joys (and silliness) of raising a puppy…potty training, training basics, chew toys, snuggles, and watching her grow.

🐾 Meet Bugs 🐾

Or as she prefers to be called… tiny house hippo, professional cuddle bug, and full-time shadow. 🤍

At around 1.5 years old and 40 pounds, Bugs is the perfect pocket pittie with an even bigger personality. She has the kind of face that makes strangers stop and smile, the kind of goofy energy that keeps you laughing, and the kind of heart that loves with absolutely everything she has.

Bugs truly believes she is a lap dog. Personal space? Never heard of it. If you sit down, prepare to have a warm little pittie curled up directly on top of you within seconds. She just wants to be with her people all the time and honestly, once you meet her, you’ll want to be with her too. 🥹

She’s currently learning what it means to be part of a family while in foster care, and she is thriving with love, structure, routine, and attention. Watching her personality blossom has been pure magic.

Bugs is:

✨ Equal parts chaos and cuddle bug

Like any young dog, she’s still polishing up her manners. She gets excited, can be a little jumpy, and occasionally believes your kitchen counters belong to her too. Because of this, she would do best with kids over 12. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and responds so well to consistency and love.

What Bugs really wants is simple:
A couch to snuggle on.
A human to adore.
A home where she never has to wonder if she belongs again.

🌸 Meet Catherine 🌸

Some dogs are loud about wanting love.

Catherine isn’t.

She’s the quiet kind of soul who gently lays her head on your lap, looks up at you with those soft eyes, and silently asks, “Am I finally safe here?” 🤍

At around 3–4 years old, Catherine is the definition of a good girl. She’s calm, affectionate, house trained, crate trained, and happiest simply being close to her people. No chaos. No drama. Just pure, gentle love.

Her favorite things in life are simple:
☀️ Sunbathing outside
🛏️ Taking upside-down naps in comfy beds
🤍 Quiet companionship
🐾 Being told she’s a good girl

Catherine is the kind of dog who changes the feeling of a home. She brings peace with her. The kind of presence that makes hard days softer.

And despite everything she’s been through, she still loves so deeply.

Catherine is currently heartworm positive, but please don’t let that scare you away from this incredible girl. Wilder Souls Rescue fully covers the cost of her treatment through approved veterinarians. Right now, what she truly needs is a calm, loving home where she can safely rest, heal, and finally know what it feels like to belong to someone.

Max is around 1 year old and weighs about 25 pounds, which honestly makes him the perfect size for basically everything. Big enough for adventures, small enough to curl up right beside you like he’s always belonged there.

And can we talk about this FACE?! Those expressive eyes, the adorable scruffy beard, the little eyebrows. He looks like he walked straight out of a Disney movie. 🥹

Max is the kind of dog who just wants to be loved. He’s sweet, bright, eager to please, and at the perfect age where he’s past the tiny puppy chaos but still young enough to learn and grow alongside his forever family.

He would love a home that will give him patience while he settles in, daily walks, playtime, belly rubs, and lots of love. In return, he’ll give you loyal companionship, endless smiles, and a permanent shadow with four legs.

Mash is playful, curious, sweet, and full of personality. He’s the perfect mix of goofy puppy energy and snuggly best friend. Like every puppy his age, he’s learning all about life, routines, and adventure, and he’s looking for a family ready to help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.

We are 72 hours into a brand new foster home, and our sweet girl Sweetie is already making progress. 🤍

The 3-3-3 rule is real.

Three days to decompress.
Three weeks to learn the routine.
Three months to truly feel at home.

Rescue dogs are not giving you a hard time. They’re having a hard time.

Everything is new. New people. New smells. New rules. New sounds. New expectations.

Some dogs shut down. Some become clingy. Some test boundaries. Some sleep nonstop.

What they need most is patience, structure, and the chance to settle in without pressure to immediately “fit in.”

Watching them slowly realize they are safe is one of the best parts of rescue. 🐾
