🐾 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Greenfield Animal Hospital! 🇺🇸✨ As we gather today to celebrate the freedoms we cherish, we’re grateful for the trust you place in us to care for your beloved pets.

Remember that fireworks and gatherings can be unsettling for some animals. Please ensure their ID tags are on, your yard and doors are secure, and a quiet indoor space is available for them. Also be mindful of festive foods around dogs, especially corn on the cob, which can cause blockages.

We are closed today, but we’ll be back tomorrow to continue providing the best care for your furry family members. Have a safe and joyful 4th of July! 🐶🐱❤️

🐾 We’re thrilled to welcome our amazing veterinary student intern, future Dr. Madi Bull, who will be joining us this summer! 🌟 Currently entering her third year of veterinary school at St. George’s University, Madi brings a positive attitude and an euthasiam for veterinary medicine that’s infectious! She’s eager to dive into learning opportunities and grow her skills in both surgery and general practice.

As April and National Heartworm Awareness Month come to a close, we’d like to share Bullseye’s inspiring story! 🐾❤️ Bullseye, adopted at just 6 months by our dedicated veterinary assistant, exemplifies resilience and the lifesaving impact of early detection. Following a routine blood test, Bullseye was diagnosed with heartworm disease, likely contracted as a young puppy. Despite a long treatment journey involving multiple injections and restricted activity, we’re thrilled to announce that Bullseye is now heartworm-free and thriving! 🌟 His story underscores the vital importance of regular vet checkups and blood tests. Let’s continue to raise awareness and keep our pets safe together! 🏥🐶
