I need to head to bed, but how can I stop snuggling this sweet girl? 🥰

We had our bitter sweet goodbyes for 3 of the little ones today, Harriet (she's keeping her name 😍), Shylo (previously Pauli), and Abigail (name to be determined).
Now Ruth And Otis are hanging out a little longer, until their families are ready for them.
I won't complain about extra puppy snuggles! 🥰

Week 6 (+ 3 days)

Guys, it's almost go-home time!!!
Everyone got their usual, a nail trim and they got a 3rd dose of dewormer, plus their vet appointment is scheduled for August 27th!

The puppies are coming out of the whelping area multiple times a day for play time and have started going out onto the porch to practice going outside, this week they will be going out to the back yard a few times a day for potty practice and exploration!

They are exclusively eating their kibble dry now and mom is getting very serious about weaning them, even though she still lets them nurse a few times a day. They have also been introduced to the other adults, which helps teach them important dog manners and bite inhibition, helping them be better socialized for good cannine behavior later in life.

🐾 5 weeks!! 🐾

They have a lot of big stuff happening now, and we are in the home stretch to go home day!
Another nail trim down, microchips are in, first bath and trip to the back yard coming this week, as well as more focus on weaning from momma, another round of dewormer, continuing to keep their potty stuff in the potty tray, plus, learning how to be a good canine citizen through play and interactions with the other adults here.

Everyone is growing so quick 🥰
