Sooo I fell in love today❤️

This is Gigi—she’s 4 months old and conquered her first groom like a champ!! I normally don’t like doing full haircuts on pups this young, but because she was doing SO well, I decided to go for it! We took lots of breaks for snuggles, play time, snacks, and to just take a beat from the “serious” stuff.

I always feel bad for anyone in my vicinity when I get a puppy like this on my table. The baby talk and random noises I make throughout the groom is enough to drive anyone crazy😅 But the pups just loovveeeee it! Plus the positive reinforcement helps improve behavior and help them realize they are okay and this is supposed to be fun and something they enjoy!

I did not want to go back to work after finishing her. If I could’ve walked out with her on my hip and not finished my day I 1000000% would have.

I just can’t even with her!! Like come on😫💖💖

Started off bright and early this morning with this new puppy, Scout! He got his first groom EVER today and was such a brave boy🐾

Grooming can be scary to dogs for many reasons. Loud noise, unfamiliar tools, and being in an unfamiliar place can be nerve wracking for dogs who aren’t used to the process. Patience, grace, and a positive attitude make all the difference in these young pups.

This crazy boy comes back to me in just a couple weeks for a full haircut and I absolutely can’t wait. ❤️
