We will miss you Callet!
It is with the heaviest of hearts, that I share with you, our loss of two of our mares, Merlot & Callet. It's never easy making that decision for them. But it is our responsibility to make it, when it is right. As it is said... It's always better to let them go on a good day, and not wait until it is an emergency situation. All our horses touch so many lives and my heart breaks for each and every one of us.

Callet you touched so many lives... did so many things... from Breyerfest to Secretariat Festival... to so many parades and shows, hippodrome trick riding and even making a few passes around the infamous Red Mile! Carrying so many friends safely on the trails. She had her share of time as a broodmare, both purebred and Bizkit babies. And I am so thankful that we have Pearl still, Her last baby by Bizkit. I know her loss affects so many hearts and I wish there was a way this didnt have to be so sad. Rest easy big girl 💜

Merlot is best known as the best dam of Dream Gait. She would let any foal nurse from her. She loved her job of being a mother. She loved having her face rubbed and her beard scratched. She never left the property much except when we almost lost her and her baby at the time several years ago... thankfully she was saved, her baby saved and she even went on to have a couple more babies.
Merlot, you were the start of my friesian adventure. I knew from the moment I saw your face and smiled at those ears, that I had to have you! You were so loved and will be greatly missed. Be at peace sweet mare.

New this year! In our effort to expand the breeds getting to have all the fun, we are adding a handful of Arabian classes. These Arabian classes wont include points with AHA. Think of them as dress rehearsals and will be judged according to AHA rules.
