This sweet sweet girl has been our ride or die for the past 13 years we have been extremely blessed with her.this will be puddles last iditarod start and restart trip .she has one more road trip in her to see baby jay ,April and Sean Gilchrist and to be around all the people that love her and that she loves so much ..God thank you for the life we got to live with this beautiful little lady...

The 2 of you are the golden rake winners to us.
Jason and Patrick said because of the 2 of you they didn't have anything to worry about at the check points .you two made it possible for then and enjoyable each check point was amazing people and extra amazing because of you two ....thank you for taking such good care of these two and others and making this trip memorable experience. 🥰

Update..
Jason and patrick and 2 trail sweeps left nenana last night. Information provided was 3 snowmachines made it fairbanks so it should be good.

Well 2 irondog snowmachines are completely different than 2 trail sweeps and 2 teams .

Jason and patrick have had a great trip even with the stand down at the Tolovana Roadhouse for 24 hours .until this last 20 miles they just traveled out of nenana.
The trail is not safe or doable for the teams ,mushers or trail sweeps. The decision was made in the best interest for all to return the 20 miles back to nenana and the race marshall has deemed that there official finish. It will be a long trip back the guys are tired wet and ready to bring them home ..

Well this has been one heck of trip Jason and Patrick and the teams the teams looking great coming in yo nenana and departing nenana. I spoke with both last night and they figured with the conditions we are having they should be to the finish line around one or so and then Jason started laughing and said well with another foot of snow and the winds at 30mph he said we might make the banquet. Watch the tracker come cheer these 2 across the finish they are true testament of gritt and I couldn't be more proud of all the dogs and father and son

Dad(jason)Son (patrick) on there way over to Manley.
We talked to them last night and hour before they pulled hook after some much needed rest.
It amazing to me how upbeat and positive they have remained through this challenging trip.
When they left the bridge off there 24 hour layover teams were ready to roll unfortunately no trail to roll on 2 feet of fresh snow makes a 60 mile run seem like a 160 mile run . Jason and Patrick became the leaders of the teams putting there skills in full swing .there is no bought mackey men are build tough.
So proud of Jason and patricks team and incredibly proud of both of them ..
