🌟 We’re finally doing it again! 🌟

This month’s spotlight is on 🧶✨
Kayleigh makes the most 𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 handmade Icelandic wool headbands and sweaters — truly the warmest, coziest, and most beautiful ones we’ve ever seen!

I’ve had my headband for a year now and use it every time I go skijoring — it’s the perfect balance of warm and breathable, ideal for any outdoor activity. ❄️🐕‍🦺

She even has some amazing 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 — and we just found out she’s working on 𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬, coming soon! 🐱💨

🚚 Heads up, friends! We’ll be closed this Saturday as we move the last of our things into our new home! 🎉
Today, we’ll also be closing a little early at 5PM so we can get a head start.

Next week we’ll be back to normal — fully rested, healed up, and ready to give our full focus back to the business 🐾 No more moving, no more chaos — just happy pets and treats all around! 💚

Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been a little stressed lately 😅
I realized that I’ve accidentally been bringing 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 home with me — mentally and literally — and that’s been taking a toll. So, I’ve decided it’s time to set a healthier boundary.

Starting now, 𝐒𝐞𝐯’𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫! 📱

This phone will 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦 — meaning you can still text or call us during store hours, but once I go home, I’ll finally be able to 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦. You can, of course, also still reach out through Facebook or Instagram!

❗️𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 — that one is now personal, and I’m trying to keep a little separation between work and home life.

This isn’t because I don’t want to help — quite the opposite. I love helping every single one of you find the right products for your pets. But it’s become clear that I need to protect a little bit of personal space too ❤️

To give you a little behind-the-scenes look at why things can get stressful sometimes:
When people say, “Can you just order that in?”, I 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 it were that simple!
We work with a mix of small businesses and large distributors.
✨ Small businesses are easy to reorder from — they have low minimums and short shipping times.
💼 But bigger brands like Open Farm, Nulo, Northwest Naturals, Messy Mutts, and OC Raw come through a large distributor that requires a $𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 — and that’s 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 (raw food and dry food can’t be ordered together).

On top of that, I pay a separate shipping company for delivery, and sometimes multiple big expenses land all at once — like our 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞𝐫 that we recently ordered for the store! It’s an exciting upgrade that will help us carry even more for your pets, but it definitely adds to the chaos behind the scenes 😅

😔 I’m so sorry, guys — I’m sick again. My body has been telling me to slow down, and I guess I finally have no choice but to listen. I’m so dizzy right now that I don’t even trust myself driving.

Unfortunately, Marissa isn’t able to make it to the store today either, so we’ll have to stay closed for now. I’ll keep you all updated, but it’s looking like we’ll be closed until Monday so I can fully rest and recover.

I did go ahead and order all the raw food, so no worries there — I’ll update you once everything arrives. Thank you so much for understanding ❤️

Not feeling too great today, so I’ve gone home sick — currently curled up on the couch with Maya and Loki 🐾 They didn’t even get up when I walked in because they’re so used to nobody being home at this hour. Maya definitely knows something’s up though… she’s been keeping a close eye on me ❤️

Unfortunately, Marissa’s car also broke down and she can’t make it in tomorrow. I’m not sure how I’ll be feeling by then, but as always, I’ll keep you all updated.
For today though, the store will be closed.
