Our post is a little different this week. We want to continue to support our community that has shown how we can step up to help others through amazing generosity.

A small way to help is by keeping our local animal shelters capacity in low numbers which allows them to focus on those affected by the flood and hopefully reunite as many lost pets with their owners.

Our local Daily Bread has been overwhelmed with pet supply donations and are asking for volunteer drivers who can transport supplies from Boerne to Kendall County Animal Shelter.

🚨 Our local animal shelter needs help 🚨

They are beginning to see more pets brought in that have been affected by the recent flood.
Please consider donating your time as a volunteer, money for medical services and/or supplies/food.

Comfort and Kendall County residents we are now starting to see an influx of owner surrenders and displaced animals coming in from the flood. Anyone wishing to donate dry dog or cat food can bring it by the shelter. And any residents in need of dog or cat food please contact us and let us help you out. If anyone would like to volunteer we could use some bathers to come give dogs baths before they head out to rescue! We are excited to announce that several rescues are stepping up to pull animals including AWS Freeman-Fritts Animal Shelter & Clinic, Austin Pets Alive!, and Foundation out of San Antonio. Thank you to everyone who is here to help! .
