Meet Blue! 🐦💙 We’re checking on his wing to make sure he can spread them & fly with absolutely no difficulty.

Pet birds have an innate desire to try to hide any illness or injury! So, here are some tips on being able to tell if your birdie hurt his wing 🪽

Often but not always the bird will not hold its wing completely close to the body, and sometimes it will drag on the ground or be so broken that it flips around.

Keep a gentle eye on your bird for signs like limping, trouble moving their wings, unusual discharge, changes in their droppings, or lower energy levels. If you notice these, it’s a good idea to reach out to a vet for advice. If your bird is huddled, very lethargic, unresponsive, or resting at the bottom of the cage, please seek veterinary care right away‼️‼️
