Prepping the garage for a new door install. Removing the 12’ door and expanding the opening to 18’. Looks like I might have to keep a center post due to the span. Getting some much needed assistance from my big bro. Adding 2 additional 4x6 posts to each side as well. Looking forward to a new insulated door with an opener!. Stay tuned.

Automation is quite interesting. These machines that look somewhat like a mobile car wash running up and down the Rows are busy at it.

After doing a fair amount of tree work today, it only seemed appropriate to drop in on the Deming log show opening just a few short miles from us and get in on the food festivities. The vendors did not disappoint. Trucks, tractors, heavy equipment,”oh my!”

Completing the first of many future garage projects. No storage here at all. A former building used for processing blueberries.
Some 2x3’s and OSB make for some inexpensive shelving. Getting used to the weather here and it feels like I am building inside an igloo.

Well, I said good-bye to my T-Rusty old Fordson Friend. We are heading up to the PNW soon and I couldn’t see hauling a 3500 lb anchor up with us.
