The Everman Animal Shelter is once again very low on both dry and can dog food. Since the seizure we had a few months ago, we have been maintaining close to double the amount of dogs we are normally dealing with. So any donations would be greatly appreciated, Thanks. Also if you would like to volunteer with us, walking dogs, assisting cleaning, bathing etc... contact us as wll and again Thanks

This is Olive. Olive is a little standoffish. We received her as an owner surrender and ,unfortunately, she bit one of us out of fear. Now, she loves us both and we are working with her on being open to other people. She is slowly coming around and we have no doubt that she would make a good addition to any home.

This sweet little guy is Bubba. He is intact and is about a year old. He loves being around people and is highly food driven. He seems to be very low maintenance and likes to lay around getting his head scratched and belly rubbed.

UPDATE: Mike has left the building!!! He was adopted 12/15/2021 Congratulations buddy. We hope you have a great life. This is Mike. He is about a year old, if that, and is very food driven. Do not let his goofy face fool you. He is highly alert and is an amazing watch dog. He is very sweet and loving ,yet, highly attentive to his surroundings.

This lovely older lady is Sophie. Sophie was an owner surrender that claimed she was aggressive. Apparently the previous owner had no idea what they were giving up as she is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met. She has some slight medical issues that are non life threatening and loves having her belly rubbed.

Meet Goose. Initially, Goose was very standoffish. Now she is one of our favorites. A volunteer worked extensively with Goose and slowly brought her out of her shell. She will still act a little skittish while in her kennel, but, outside she is a loving dog that craves attention.
