PW Dressage is seeking a dedicated and reliable groom to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a professional dressage environment, caring for high-quality horses and supporting riders in their training and competition schedules. Housing is provided as part of the employment package, ensuring comfort and convenience for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily care and grooming of dressage horses. Some help with feeding, turnout, and stall maintenance if needed.
• Preparation of horses for riding and competitions (tacking up, bathing, braiding, etc.).
• Monitoring horse health and reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe barn environment.
• Assisting with basic tack cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Supporting trainers and riders during lessons and events.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience handling and grooming sport horses preferred, especially in a dressage setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to horse welfare.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Rider Spotlight: This highlight is for Elizabeth Holley Lindenbach and Spotify (Sophie)! Sophie is a 7yo Hanoverian by Secret out of a De Niro mare. So excited to celebrate this partnership as they are at Nationals and is competing in 2nd Level Championships tomorrow evening!!

Petra and Hannes found her in Germany as a 5 year old. She’d had a foal and was green for her age. Elizabeth has been developing her as an amateur rider, with excellent coaching from the ground. They were 7th at Training level at USDF Finals last year. This year they will be going to finals for first and second levels, as well as a first level freestyle. Sophie lives at home with Elizabeth, and the whole family loves her kind and gentle soul. She’s quite shy and might seem standoffish, but at night when her horsie friends aren’t watching she likes to breathe together and rest her cheek on Elizabeth’s cheek. Elizabeth mentioned how so lucky to close each day with her.

Elizabeth joined with Petra when she moved to Swede Gulch.

Elizabeth was an H/J rider with a really difficult red mare.

Petra helped Elizabeth restart her in dressage and she fell in love with the sport - detail, connection, and harmony!
