Our friends up in Burlington Washington run a very fine reptile and feed her store. They have been looking for an employee for some time and not having luck. Do you have the ability to show up and do work and get paid? Maybe you were the one they need

Puyallup!
So the conversation happened like this:
"Would you like us to bring some exotic animals to Summer Con?"
Us: "Of course, YES... but how can we get away with selling exotic animals to a comic con crowd?"
After 2 minutes, we realized that we are bringing Ninja Turtles to the show... and turtles are animals... Boom. Second thought... Jason Mewes holding a hedgehog and/or a baby kangaroo while playing Fortnite..." SOLD!
Please welcome our friends at the Pacific Northwest Reptile & Exotic Animal Show to the Washington State Summer Con on June 15th and 16th.
Positioned in the booth across from the Ninja Turtles will be any combinations of kangaroos, chameleons, hedgehogs, foxes, and who knows what else. Don't worry, we nixed all snakes, spiders, and anything that might spook the reptile-weary. This will be an awesome opportunity for all to enjoy something exotic besides Ming and Bryan Johnson eating corn (you had to be there).
The Pacific Northwest Reptile & Exotic Animal Show happens at the Washington State Fair and Events Center on July 13th and 14th in the Expo Hall. Come see these amazing animals and meet the handlers that care for them. Please note that these animals coming to promote their show and are not for sale.

ACTION ALERT: Illinois Animal Program Ban HB2554
UPDATE: The bill sponsor tabled (pulled from consideration) HB2554 at today's hearing. This would not have happened without an outpouring of opposition!
Illinois House Bill 2554 is a broad-sweeping ban on educational animal outreach and other programs which include any species not native to the United States.
Very basic summary:
1. Ban on any animal species non-native to the U.S. being transported and then viewed by any audience;
2.the only exemption applies to programs in which the animal is not transported at a "non-mobile, permanent institution, or other facility;"
3. violation penalty is up to a year in jail and $2,500 fine (Class A misdemeanor);
4. This bill amends the current law (720 ILCS 5/48-11) which only applies to elephants but would include ALL non-native species and those of a "foreign character" if it passes.
Full details at www.usark.org/2019-blog/action-alert-illinois-hb2554/
NOTE: This is a bill (or a proposal). It does not become law unless it passes through the House and the Senate, and is signed by the Governor. Click the link above and follow the steps to stop this from becoming law!

**Update** she has been found. This morning at 830 our toucan Guinness got out by accident by someone trying to help us out. She was last seen in the tree between holiday inn and the Aquarium RV parking. There is a reward for the safe return of her. Please share this around so everyone can keep an eye out. If you see her she will come to you if you have grapes or blueberries in your hand.
