Remi has been very successful in AKC, CKC, and International (IABCA/UCI) competition. In IABCA, in less than 2 years of showing he received 6 Grand Sieger Best in Shows, 4 Gold Cup Best in Shows, 4 Gold Cup Reserve Best in Shows, 13 Best in Shows, 5 Reserve Best in Shows, and numerous Working Group Placements and Best of Breeds. Remi is currently ranked #1 on the IABCA Grand Sieger Best in Show Leader Board and #4 in IABCA's Gold Cup Standings.
In limited showing in the AKC in 2009, he received an Award of Merit and was the Best Brindle at the American Bullmastiff Association Specialty Show (Stumptown Cluster) in Portland, OR. In Canada, Remi became a new champion and was Best of Breed/Best of Winners at the Peace Arch Working and Herding Association Specialty Show.
In July, 2010, Remi began competing in Rally. In his first weekend of competition at the Stumptown Cluster in Portland, OR, he completed 2 of 3 legs toward his Rally Novice (RN) title, earning 2nd and 4th place (lost the tie-breaker for 3rd place based on time) among all Novice A competitors. That weekend, Remi was also Best Brindle at the American Bullmastiff Association Specialty Show (the second year in a row he has earned this honor). In August, 2010, at the Olympic Kennel Club in Enumclaw, WA, Remi earned his RN title and 3rd place among all Novice A competitors.
Remi's lines go back to the world-famous Oldwell Kennels of England (pedigree below). Remi was bred by Dr. Barbara Brooks-Worrell and Mark Worrell (Ol West Farms) out of CH Ol West Wyatt Earp and CH Ol West Belle Star.
