Trixie has come a long way since her first shy days at Four-Legged Fun Zone. Even this morning, walking through the daycare door felt a little overwhelming. Trixie tucked herself against the wall… until Kila the blue cannonball bounded in and made bravery look a little easier — just like he did on her very first day.

With patient support, slow introductions, and time in our Shy Dog Room, Trixie slowly found her confidence. And this photo says it all — now she’s sprinting after her friend Kumo Bao, tail high, ears happy, fully embracing the fun she once watched from afar.

These days, she zooms, wrestles, play-bows, and plays chase like she’s been doing it forever.

We love celebrating shy-dog success stories like hers. 💛

Meet Gizmo, one of my absolute favorite Shih Tzus to groom! 🐶✨
He’s a total sweetheart with dashing good looks and the happiest little greeting every time he comes through the door. That fluffy “before” coat you see is classic Gizmo — soft, adorable, and always ready for his spa day. And afterward? I swear he knows he looks extra handsome.

Some dogs wiggle, some zoom, but Gizmo? He soaks up the attention like a pro. His cheerful personality makes every appointment easy and fun, and his soft little face always melts my heart — especially when he poses for his “after” photo.

Zero was the sweetest 60 lb bundle of joy today! 🍬🐾

He soaked up every bit of handler attention and stuck to us like a gumdrop—clingy in the most heart-melting way. Even with all that affection, he still made plenty of time to zoom around with Rook (butt-tucked puppy sprints included 😂) and bounced between both Rosies, Charlie, BB, and Fey.

He had wonderfully balanced energy: joyful chase games one moment, then quiet explorative time the next—standing by the gate, sniffing the breeze, watching birds and cars go by like he was taking in the whole gingerbread village.

Zero is playful, friendly, and full of personality, and he made today extra fun for the whole group. ❤️🎄

Stella might be tiny, but she brings BIG energy to her holiday grooming appointments! 💛🎄

This sweet, spicy little Shih Tzu knows our routine perfectly—so perfectly that the second we finish, she starts barking at me as if to say, “Put my stuff on, I’m ready to go!” Getting an after photo is almost impossible because she’s halfway out the door before I can grab my phone.

But honestly? That’s what makes her so lovable. Her festive gumdrop-themed frame might say “sweet,” but this lady runs the show.

Caesar, our almost-9-month-old Boxer pup, had a very festive day at daycare! 🍬🎄
He and Rosie had a blast chasing balls, and in true Boxer fashion, he tried to hog a few like the cheerful cookie-monster he is. His enthusiasm pulled the whole group into play—he’s fantastic at engaging dogs of all personalities.

He can get a little rowdy at times (he is still a puppy!), but he remains a respectful, happy player who adjusts well when his friends need space. During transitions, he had a burst of holiday “helper energy” and tried to assist the handler with their gear. After a quick redirect, he was right back into play mode.

Boxers are BIG personalities wrapped inside even bigger hearts, and Caesar brought both today. ❤️🐾

Miss Maggie popped in for her grooming appointment, and she instantly made the whole day sweeter! 🍬💛

BB the 70 lb Labradoodle had an extra sweet day in daycare today! 🍬🐾
She came in full of holiday energy—barking with excitement, racing after balls, and trying to “manage” everyone else’s toys instead of sticking with her own. Our handlers redirected her throughout the day, helping her focus on her ball, her friends, and the fun in front of her.

BB is a BIG personality with a BIG heart. She loves to play, but she also loves her personal “BB Space” and appreciates when others respect it. Once she had a little structure (and her very own ball to concentrate on), she settled beautifully and had an amazing time.

Marvin had an action-packed day in our Large Dog Daycare Playgroup at Four-Legged Fun Zone! 🐾💙

He dove right into playtime with Marley, Rosie, Rook, and Fae—his favorite big-dog crew. Marvin LOVES over-the-top, theatrical Bitey-Face complete with dramatic sound effects. If big-dog theater were a sport, he’d win gold every time!

Even in all the excitement, he matched energy beautifully. With close supervision and indoor/outdoor rotations, he shifted gears as needed and read his friends well. His signature moment? A joyful “zoom-and-snatch” ball steal, complete with a proud tail wag.

These goofy, social interactions help big dogs build confidence, learn communication skills, and burn off that high energy in healthy ways.

Meet Duke, one of the sweetest little Aussies to ever prance through our doors! 💙🐾

He arrived for his grooming appointment feeling a bit anxious, but with slow movements, gentle reassurance, and plenty of breaks, he relaxed more and more as we went. By the end, he was calm, confident, and proudly earning his title of “Certified Very Good Boy.” ✨

Helping nervous pups feel safe is one of the most rewarding parts of grooming — the transformation isn’t just on the outside. It’s watching them soften, trust, and settle in.

Meet Fae, our rough-and-tumble Great Dane who somehow manages to be both the life of the party and the calm, watchful observer.

She burst through the door ready for action today!
First up: being Charlie’s main target in an all-out game of Tag. Fae was living her best life — giant happy bounds, playful shoulder bumps, and quick turns as she tried to outrun his goofy zoomies. Charlie even landed a dramatic paw-whack before zooming off again.

Then the big-dog chaos kicked in: a full-on Bitey Face Fest with Charlie, Zero, Rowan, and Rebel. Fae dove right into the middle of the pile — rolling onto her back, swinging paws, tumbling, wrestling, and dishing out just as much silliness as she got. Nothing beats a happy, wiggly heap of large-breed friends.

By early afternoon, after all those zooms, Fae claimed her favorite cot in the corner. Still watching. Still tracking every movement. Still ready to jump back in the moment someone hinted at round two.

Whether she’s in the center of the wrestle-pile or supervising from her cozy corner, Fae brings the best mix of enthusiasm and steady, confident energy to daycare. We absolutely love her.
