Frodo’s smile is contagious, and Tibby’s expressions never fail to make us laugh. Celebrating another year with them is one of our favorite parts of what we do. Thank you for letting us be part of their special day.

Happy Birthday, Frodo & Tibby! 🥳🐾

POV: Daycare isn’t supposed to be nonstop chaos. 😴🐾

One of the biggest misconceptions about dog daycare is that dogs should be running, wrestling, and playing from open to close.

In reality, the best daycare balances play, training, enrichment, and rest.

Calm dogs make better decisions. They learn faster, communicate more appropriately, and go home mentally fulfilled instead of overstimulated. Rest isn’t “boring”—it’s an essential part of helping dogs regulate their emotions and recharge.

A room full of quietly sleeping dogs isn’t a sign that nothing is happening. It’s a sign they feel safe, comfortable, and know how to settle.

At The Common Dog, we believe the goal isn’t to send home exhausted dogs—it’s to send home balanced dogs. 🧡🖤

🐾 A little trim goes a long way.
Regular nail trims aren’t just about appearances—they’re an important part of your dog’s overall comfort and health.

When nails become too long, they can change the way a dog stands and walks, put extra stress on their joints, and make everyday movement less comfortable.

🧡 At The Common Dog, we’re a judgment-free zone. Every dog has a story, every family is doing their best, and our goal is never to shame—it’s to educate, support, and help dogs feel their best.

The good news? With regular maintenance, nail trims become quicker, more comfortable, and less stressful for both dogs and their people.

If your pup is due for a trim, we’re always happy to help. Small, consistent trims make a big difference. ✂️🐶 PreventiveCare HealthyDogs
