Over the last several weeks, there have been a series of twists and turns in terms of my diagnosis. What we initially thought was a stroke has turned out to be something much more complex. Suffice it to say, we are looking at a longer than expected course of treatment. For that reason, I have made the very difficult decision to close the practice.

I opened McCutchanville Animal Hospital in May of 1999. 25 Years! This practice has been a labor of love and I consider it to be one of my greatest accomplishments. It has been an honor and privilege to serve multiple generations of families over the years. To my new clients and old-timers alike, I cherish the bonds we have made and I will greatly miss my patients and their sweet, furry faces.

The clinic will remain open until Friday, May 17th. Michele and Rachael will be on hand to assist with transitioning current patient records over to new practices.

It has been a great run. Thank you for the memories.

Due to the storms and inclement weather predicted for today, we will be closed for today, Tuesday, April 2nd.

We look to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, April 3rd with normal business hours.

To my wonderful patients and their parents:

As many of you may know, I have been out of the office due to an unexpected medical leave. Many of you have reached out expressing care and concern, thank you for that. At this time, I would like to provide everyone with a status update.

On Wednesday, February 21st, I experienced a cryptogenic stroke (CS). Fortunately, I was able to seek treatment early and I was very lucky. Since that time, I have been focused on recovery. Currently, I do not have an expected return-to-work date. However, I hope to be back, initially in a limited capacity, within the next month.

During my absence, Michele and Rachael are in the office to assist with prescription refills and tech appointments, as necessary. If you have urgent needs we have a few veterinary offices we have spoken with that may be able to assist your family. Please call our office during regular business hours and Michele or Rachael will be happy to assist you.

Please continue checking our page for future updates. However, please call the office with ALL questions as our page will not be closely monitored throughout this time.

I want to personally thank you for your well wishes, patience, and understanding during this time.

HOLLY JOLLY HOURS: The office will close for our annual holiday break on Friday Dec 22, 2023 and reopen on Wednesday Jan 3, 2024.
