Just a little business history and information...
Emma's Place Feedstore was started by Emma Droege in 1989. She started it to get feed for the family and a couple neighborhood farms out of a small building located on the family farm. After she passed in 2011 her son, Dan Droege had to make the decision to close down or keep it going. Shortly after that in 2003, the business was getting too big f
or the small little building it was in. Thats when Dan built the building the store is currently located in.(still on the family farm and operated by only family members) In the last ten years the store just keeps growing bigger and better. Adding more and more feeds and other products and gaining more customers. It has grown so much that Dan brought in his niece Caitlyn Droege to help his father Alvin Droege Sr. run it during the day through out the week so that there is always someone here to help our wonderful customers and to keep up with all the other work that Dan has had trouble keeping up with. Dan's brother Bobby Droege is our feed stocker and loader. If you are needing any feed delivered Dan's nephew Adam Droege can help you out with that. His other brother Alvin Droege Jr. is around to help here and there if everyone else is busy. Also, in the summer time you might run into Dan's nephew Zach Powers helping out. That or one of us just wearing Zach's racing shirts sponsored by Emma's Place. Emma's Place feedstore sponsors two other modified car racers Levi Kissinger and Trent Young as well. We sponsor the Posey County Saddle Club and Vanderburgh 4-H fair livestock auction too.
