HOW CUTE ARE THESE BABIES IN THEIR SWEATERS 😭🩷 Benji was so happy to be there as usual. He’s so happy to be included 🤣🐶🐾 Sunni was very interested in what her brother was doing but she still moved right along!! I (Alexis) unfortunately wasn’t there this time so Tyler sending me these sweater photos absolutely melted my heart. We love Benji & Sunni!! Even if Sunni is still questionable about us, Benji loves us very much!!❤️❤️❤️

Drako, Luna, and the newest of the siblings: Annie 🥹❤️ There are no words to describe how cute & sweet these 3 puppies are! Today we had two returning runners & one newbie on the mill!! This is Drako & Luna’s 3rd time on the mill and Luna just took off! Absolutely loving it. Drako on the other hand has had his suspicions in the past but today he finally did it! With praise and lovins Drako moved up to 2MPH! It might sound silly, but it’s a ginormous improvement from sitting on his butt and refusing 🤣
Annie is the last pup and she’s 9 months old. Her dad just rescued her not too long ago and shes just the sweetest soul ever. Wants all the love and not quite sure of the slatmill. Luna tried to show her how fun it can be, but Annie was still questioning it 🤣❤️🐾🐶

OUR GUY! OUR FIRST CUSTOMER EVER! THE CUTEST GUY AROUND! Mr. Mickey!!! 🐭 He hit a top speed of 9.8MPH, SO CLOSE to finally getting double digits! We love this guy. He was doing what lots of dogs do: sprint - rest - sprint - rest 🤣. We love when they are comfortable enough to control their own workout!

WE HAD OUR BEST SESSION YET WITH THESE TWO SIBLINGS! (And Artie there to cheer them on)🐶🐾 Oreo has officially taken Ricky’s fastest speed spot hitting 13.8MPH. He ran at 9-10MPH for a good 10-15 minutes without stopping after breaking his record too. Oreo got the best workout of his life today. So good, he tried to lay down at the end 🤣
HIS SISTER BLOOM! She gave it ALL SHE HAD!! She got on the slatmill and RAN! It was so so cute and she was so happy. After a few minutes of running she said “ok back to normal Bloom speed”. She was so happy and kept the same pace the rest of the time. These two enjoyed the mill more than they ever had today and it was so fun to watch. We love Oreo & Bloom!!🐶❤️🐾

Our last boy of the day was Mister Shaka! He hit a speed of 9.8MPH when his girlfriend (the neighbors dog) walked by and he got to see her. He went into full run mode (though we ALL know he can go faster) and ran for a good amount dropping to 7MPH and holding steady for about 8 minutes. Shaka makes us work for him to run… lots of cheers, pets, and running around. All the different dogs and figuring out what makes them move keeps this job interesting for sure! 🤣❤️

Bingo is the cutest and quirkiest fella!! 🐶🐾 Today he ran on the mill as soon as he was attached and went the full 30 without stopping. He’s very particular about other humans being in the vicinity so if someone DID dare to step in Bingo’s vision, he slowed down just a bit. Eventually his tail starts wagging and he even gives a tiny smile. 🤣 We love Bingo!

We had such a busy day today and started it off with these two sweeties! Oreo & Bloom! ❤️ Oreo was so excited to be running again, he hit 12MPH (not his fastest but it’s been a little bit since his last run so we have to give him some slack! 😜) Bloom got on it and just went the entire time. We were so proud of her, she’s picked up a lil speed every time!!🐶🐾

This weather had Willow missing running SO MUCH that she hopped on the mill and hit 14.4MPH! She was sprinting her little heart out and we were so proud! Her owner brought her little sister along (a baby German shepherd). Aurora did absolutely nothing but look positively adorable while I fed her treats (snow balls). MEET 6 month old BOO BEAR. 🐻 Honestly, we still don’t think he’s a real dog. He’s exactly what Ai would generate if you asked the computer to show you a white, fluffy dog. He is the exact replica of a Build-A-Bear. Tyler and I had never met a Samoyed before, but we left absolutely melting. He was fluffy, soft, just absolutely adorable, AND extremely smart. Most dogs have a little freak out when the floor beneath them starts to move. Not Boo Bear. He just started running. He was going the entire session as a first timer and we were so proud! 🐾🐶

This boy Shaka is the most particular and silly boy I think we’ve ever ran. 🤣 Everything has to be JUST right before he can begin his session (door shut, facing outwards). Once everything is in order and he’s accepted it, he will trot his lil heart out! He was so excited to get in the trailer and see us, giving us kisses and was so happy!! Then we he started to really go, he was loving it!! We never know what we are gonna get with Shaka so he keeps things very interesting!!🥰🐾🐶

As 2024 is coming to an end, we wanted to ask you all for something!! Life is busy and we absolutely understand that… but if you have free time in your busy week, we ask that you look at volunteering at your local shelter(s). We have almost 8,000 followers on here… with that being said:

It wasn’t until this job that Tyler and I understood even a sliver of what the rescue life is like. We’ve always loved dogs, but did not understand what the shelters were like, what the workers go through… not a single clue. We just see what lots of people see— that dogs need to be adopted.

What they also need is donations, volunteers, if you don’t have the money or supplies to donate, THEY WILL ACCEPT YOUR TIME! The dogs dream of human interaction and we’ve seen it first hand what even 30 minutes can do to a dog getting out of their kennel. So please, if you’re looking for something to add to your New Years Resolution list, maybe think about adding “Volunteering at my local dog shelter”. You have no idea the difference you are making by just helping out with one dog. 🐶🐾

Bingo!!!! We love this little dude even if he’s quite unsure of us every time we see him. 🤣 He entered the trailer by himself (win) and I was petting him occasionally (another win). We’ve chalked it up to him loving the slatmill and just accepting we will be there as a package deal 🤣❤️🐾 He loves cheers and praise and sometimes he really gets going when we run from him and he can “chase” us!! He looks so happy in this photo I love it 🤣❤️

Yesterday we ran this cutie pie, Shaka!!! He might not have hit his fastest speed, BUT he was steady at 5MPH and occasionally giving us 7.5MPH. His sister was in town for the holidays and she suprised him by coming out and cheering him on in the trailer. He was so happy!! 🥰🐶🐾 Shaka is absolutely a family dog because he loves allllll the cheers from his mom, dad, and now sister. It’s hilarious and adorable!!

AND WITH THAT, we did our last shelter run of the year! 🐶🐾 We totaled our hours between the 3 shelters we stopped at from this year and it came to 80 hours!! 🤯 We couldn’t do this without all your support. We love helping the community in whatever way we can!!❤️

It was the perfect day for the trailer to be open and to get these 4 pups out at Warrick Humane Society. All 4 of them ran and that’s always sooo exciting. 3/4 were first timers!! Each photo will tell you a little bit about them and I’ve provided a link to tell you more! If you’re interested, stop by and meet them! There are tons more lovable pups to choose from too! 🐾🐶❤️

We ran Miss Sunni on Sunday and this is the least grumpy photo we got 🤣 She almost has a smile so I’m happy with it! Sunni might not enjoy us as much (approached and petting her) without her brother there to soften her up, but she still let us give her lovings and we appreciate every small step!! She gets on the mill and immediately starts going now everytime. She loves cheers from her momma and getting clapped for from us. When all the attention is focused on Sunni, she loves it. When a conversation starts and she’s not included, she mean mugs. 🤣❤️🥰 We love Sunni!!!!

Our boy has really been getting after it these last few days! It’s too cold to get a 6-8mi walk in right now with this wind (Thanks Indiana😆) so we’ve resorted to tiny walks and sessions on the mill! He hit a new speed of a little over 10MPH. He gets so excited to run now.
