Our lead groomer, Mickey, has been grooming for over 30 years and has been with us every step of the way making our name what it i

s today. She took the owner, Senta, under her wing as an apprentice in 2015 in hopes they becomes her successor when the day of retirement comes. Patrick is our bather/receptionist and also Senta's younger brother. He has been with us since 2017, making sure everything runs smoothly from taking dogs to potty, to making appointments, or just giving us a tiny break to get some food. We often tell him we don't know what we would do without him (especially when the dogs paint the kennels with their p**p, he is more than gracious enough to clean them)

Senta started as a weekend receptionist in 2013 and worked up to salon manager in a years time. When the business was listed for sale in 2015 Senta lept at the opportunity, for they had fallen in love with grooming and truly found a calling. Senta trained under Mickey for a full year before taking on clients alone and has been grooming for 6 years. We hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit about us. Anyone wanna throw in some doggie food, so pets won't go hungry this winter?

Listen, times are tough and I know first hand what it's like to go to bed hungry.

Our Story

We at Evansville Pet Grooming make it our goal to make you and your โ€œfurbabyโ€ our priority! Being in business for close to 30 years, we like you to feel that you can trust your most prized possession to us; knowing they're being treated like our own. What sets us apart from other salons in the area is that we focus on grooming, ONLY. We offer โ€œone on oneโ€ grooming-meaning that we will work on your dog and only your dog, through and through. We only do this on Mondayโ€™s and it is a request, but there is no extra fee! We use top quality pet safe products and stay on top of training, new techniques, and take every precaution to keeping your pet safe!

MEET OUR STAFF:

Micheline โ€œMickeyโ€ Metcalf, has been grooming for over 30 years and has been with us every step of the way making our name what it is today. She is now part-time and can be requested Thursday-Saturdayโ€™s. She absolutely loves grooming and is only cutting back so she can continue to do what she loves. I have done the calculations and Mickey has groomed over 125,000 dogs in her career... WOW!

Senta Streeter (me), has owned EVPG since July 2, 2015. I have been an employee since November of 2012, so I have been apart of the EVPG family for 7 years, now. I was also been Mickeyโ€™s apprentice for 2 years and am now the full-time groomer with 4 years under my belt. I offer new techniques, new styles, and I love creative grooming with pet safe hair dye! I only offer ears, tails, or paws at this time. I also offer some stencil work but Iโ€™ve yet to perfect this. Iโ€™m available on request Monday-Fridayโ€™s!
