Another bitter sweet weekend here at Sunset Hunting Labs!! 4 puppies went to their forever homes/families. We are so blessed to see them go to such great families. New friends have been made and can’t wait to see these pups progress. Special Thanks to Matthew Speed with West Elgin Retriever’s for taking us international 🇨🇦 and making the long trip down to take Indy to Ontario Canada!!

Today is such a bittersweet day!! Puppies started going to their forever homes and families. Bitter: We have spent countless hours with these little rascals that makes it super hard to see them go. Sweet: getting to make so many new friends and seeing the joy in their eyes!!! I am very picky and have no problem telling someone they are not the right person for one of our pups. This litter is going to the best new people!! Today 2 went local and one went to West Virginia. Aren’t they precious? Excited to see where they are going!!!

This is Sitka out of Nelli’s first litter. To most this means nothing, but in the retriever competition world this is huge. Dogs naturally want to cheat to dry land, it’s easier to run on dry land then running through the water or swimming. In competition they want to see a dog that doesn’t cheat and hold their line. He did an excellent job holding that line.
