Join us this Saturday, May 9th, 10-4 for our “Common Good” Plant Sale!
Each Spring, as we sow seeds for our own patch, we sow some for yours as well. It has become the best part of the year for us: sowing and tending thousands of plants for the sale.
The ‘Common Good Plant Sale’ is the brainchild of Georgie Newbery, owner of . All around the world, farmers and gardeners are joining in on this day to sow seeds of hope by raising money for local charities and creating a ripple effect of good. Last year we were able to raise $2000 for Edible Evanston and Lemon Tree Trust!
This year we will be donating our plant sale profits to (ECC) because, after all, the only way to keep our community safe, healthy and equal is through mutual aid, solidarity i.e. common good. We’ll also be collecting items for the baby pantry. See a list of much needed items in our post.
Come to the corner farm to be with community, celebrate plants and help us imagine the ripple effect!
This is a list of the plants we’ll have available. Quantities are limited and they may sell out so come early if you have your heart set on something! Sizes and prices vary. We will also have compost and potting mix from for purchase.
