Today our team said goodbye and helped one of our long time favorite patient's cross the rainbow bridge.
From his nose folds to his pug gurgles we loved seeing him for his weekly visit, and his human too.
Our hearts are sad, but we are honored to help him have the comfort he deserved clear up to the end, surrounded by so many who loved him. We will miss you Duke ❤️ 🌈

Colville Career Fair and Tradeshow was incredible!
We were blown away to see all the local businesses showing up to give kids in our communities a real life look at different occupations and career options.
Bronco the baby goat and Maggie were a hit with the students and staff!
Students even got to practice performing physical examinations, listening to heart and lungs, and suturing.
We are so inspired by our next generation and their passion for animals. We hope to see them in our field in the future 🙌

We were so inspired by the generosity of our clients with our compassion fund last year that we decided to try something new this year to add even more to our compassion fund but also give back to our clients!

Success story time!
This sweet boy was an abdominal exploratory surgery case a few weeks ago that had a hard time healing post op. His body rejected the sutures that were used for his surgery, and after going back in a second time surgically to repair the rejected suture he continued to have issues healing.
At this point we highly recommended the owner rent one of our medical grade cold lasers to continue laser treatments at home. His owner rented the laser, and it was the turning point in his healing! These pictures are just 4 days apart! He went from severe swelling, inflammation, and discharge to almost back to normal. After weeks of issues he started to truly heal, with the help of the laser.
Laser therapy is an incredible modality that offers a holistic approach to alot of ailments we see here in clinic. Laser works by using wavelengths of light to help kick drive the deepest part of the cells in the body, asking them to replicate and move to the affected area quicker. This reduces inflammation and decreases healing time.
We are so happy to hear this guy is doing well at home after just a few days of laser treatments 😁

We were thrilled to attend the Kettle Falls Highschool Career Fair and engage with all the students who will soon be deciding their career futures!
The students got to talk with some of our team about different positions within the veterinary industry and their importance, and we did some show and tell with specimens we have collected over the years.
Our team had a blast and is looking forward to Colville Highschool Career Day next month! 🤗
