Every year, law enforcement canines from across the state are required to recertify through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement with a series of tests. Last night, I had the pleasure of certifying six outstanding canines with the LCSO. Congratulations to some of the best teams in the state.

Ready to take your scent work skills to the next level? Join us for an introductory workshop covering everything you need to know about Urban Locating!

✅ What We’ll Cover:

Overview of Urban Locating classes — levels, objectives, scoring, deductions, and titling requirements.

Basics of handling, essential gear, and how to best support your dog’s success in the field.

Hands-on practice! Each working spot participant will:

DROP-IN GROUP TRAINING

Learn commands with your dog and how to form a positive relationship and engagement! 🐶

🐾 Obedience - Sit, Down, Heel, Let's Go, and more.
🐾 Foundational training - socialization, confidence boosting.
🐾 No evaluation required. Open to all CFK9 clients.
🐾 Assistant trainers on hand to give individual instruction as needed.

$20 per class *Must have card on File or Pay with Cash at Class*
Duration: 45 minutes
Requirements: Must have completed all vaccinations in order to attend.
