The American Chesapeake Club is collecting Data on ALL Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. The Survey has to be completed by the owner of the dog, so I can only do the ones that live with me. :)

I encourage to complete the survey info on your Chessies for the last 20 years. As genetic testing has expanded, some issues have been replaced by new concerns. Which is why a new survey is being done.

I spent the weekend at the Lawrence Jawhawk show. We were the only Chessie, so we got some ribbons. The best part is Kai has decided he will stand, and although he is not crazy about all the "touching" he will tolerate it and stay put.

Jack's big travel adventure. "Jack" went to his new home yesterday. After a full vet check and neuter, he crossed a few state lines to his new family in Arkansas.

Thank you to our local Animal Control officer, Jerry, for his care and communication in getting Jack situated.
