SHELTER EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUND: this program serves animals in need at the Humboldt County Animal Shelter who are suffering from illness and/or injury and have exceeded the amount of money allocated for veterinary care that the county shelter is able to provide. HUMANE EDUCATION PROGRAM: a voluntee

r will come to classrooms or service organizations to discuss the FFL goal of ending animal homelessness, and what loving “forever homes” means to our community. I beg of you, do not ignore cats right now 🙏🏼 just because you aren’t seeing kittens yet - some are breeding as we speak. Don’t be surprised 😮 when kittens show up in a couple of months.

Even if you have indoor only cats, they can and probably will escape. 😕 They can’t help it, it’s a natural urge and instinct to reproduce.

The good news is it’s 100% preventable through spay and neuter. 🎉
