Its been down to -31degrees this week without factoring for windchill. As long as they have someplace to get out of the wind (like a barn), these guys aren't bothered a bit by the cold... apart from a little frozen drool accross the nose, that is. 🤣

Ellie is in heat this morning, almost a year to the day from her last heat cycle. Jangles finally gets to earn his keep. 🤣 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Well, today was the annual wellness check/vaccine day for Jangles, Ellie and Iris. All got a clean bill of health but the vet did feel Ellie and Iris were a bit "over conditioned" so they will be on half rations for a while. We couldn't get all of Jangles on the scale, but what parts we COULD get on weighed 200 # 🤣. Three year old Ellie was 186 # and 10 month old, fatso Iris was a hefty 161! They got hauled to the vet in the horse trailer cuz thats ALOT of dog!
