Hello to all our Buck Friends!

We are sending a huge “THANK YOU” out to all who joined us for our 2025 Buck Brannaman Clinic at the Oregon Horse Center in Eugene, Oregon. It was a fantastic clinic! We were blessed with beautiful weather. There were many great changes in all the horses throughout the weekend.
It was extra special getting to watch Buck work with several of the participant horses and the changes they were able to make with his feel and timing! We even got to see how he goes about asking for some firsts on Billy Bob the youngster he has on the road with him. It's always amazing to watch Buck ride and work with horses.

Many "Thanks" to Buck Brannaman, for continuing to travel to Oregon and share your wealth of knowledge with all of us! We truly appreciate all that you do!

We had participants and spectators from all over Oregon and Washington, some from California, Idaho, Montana, and Canada attend this clinic. Our clinic was overflowing! We thank you all for showing up to learn and welcome Buck back to the Pacific Northwest!

Buck shares so much information at every clinic, we all go home on overload! It is great to see the many people working hard at this horsemanship and asking great questions. All of your hard work is what keeps Buck happy and coming back! Thank you!!!

Thank you to the Oregon Horse Center! Major, the owner for providing a wonderful facility for us to enjoy. Thank you to Chris, Keina, and the rest of the office staff for helping coordinate along the way this past year and throughout the clinic weekend. Thank you to Mario and the rest of the team for the work that was done to get Buck's pens set up, prepare the stalls and arenas, and keep them watered and worked during our clinic weekend. It's a great facility for an event!

Thank you to our longtime friends Richard & Delora Tatum and Casey & Katona Tatum. They have helped us with whatever is needed at every Buck clinic we’ve hosted so far. It's wonderful to have great people in your life you can count on!

A special Thank you to my Momma for always making the trip down to be available to help with whatever may be needed at every clinic.

Thank you to our food/drink vendor ~ Saddle Up Grub! They really came through for us. They were onsite all 3 days keeping us supplied with great food and all the hot and cold drinks we could want. The breakfast burrito, the bacon cheeseburger, and the green apple smoothies were favorites of mine!!
Saddle Up Grub also provided our participant dinner Saturday night. The food was great, the setting was great, and I believe dinner was enjoyable for all.

Thank you to the Central Linn Equestrian ladies and Amber Cole for helping with set up, parking, picking stalls, keeping the aisleways and grounds clean, waters filled, and general clean up throughout the clinic weekend. We appreciated your help!

It was great to have Bill (Buck's Friend & Clinic sponsor from Georgia) ride at our clinic and help when needed. Thank you for your help, Bill and for the Awesome Billy Money Band hat! Watch for music from the Billy Money Band coming out soon! Also thanks to Brenton for all your help at our clinic.

Thank you to my daughter Rylee who stepped up again this year and helped with many aspects of the clinic. She was up feeding horses at 6:30am, rode both classes, and helped wherever she was needed. She is very fortunate to have this amazing horsemanship journey in her life. Her feel and timing continue to improve with every horse she works with. I continue to be proud of her accomplishments as each year passes!

We host a clinic for Buck every other year. Our next clinic will be summer 2027, likely around mid-June. Once our dates have been confirmed we will post them on this page along with a clinic location.

Shout out to thank ALL who braved the record-breaking heat June 25-27 to show up to be part of the 2021 Buck Brannaman Clinic at the Mt. Hood Center in Boring, Oregon.

We now have another successful Oregon Buck Clinic in the books. For those of you who joined us you know all the wonderful learning opportunities Buck shared with us at this clinic. Our cups were overflowing!

We have so many people to thank for helping to make this clinic great!

Buck of course and his crew, Isaac, Noah, & Jakob. They are always a joy to watch as they help the horses get to a better place and help the participants advance their horsemanship through-out the weekend.

A HUGE hand to all the participants who showed up each day and worked hard on what Buck was sharing with them despite the heat. You all rock!

Stacie Burgess for inviting us to come check out Mt. Hood center and communicating with the owners to make it possible for us to be there.

Mt. Hood Center, along with Brandi the Facility Director, and their team for working hard to provide a very nicely updated venue for our clinic.

Joe Daddy’s Burgers for pushing through the heat wave and cooking lunch for us all 3 days.

Triple L BBQ for providing us with a tasty and plentiful meal for our participants to enjoy while sharing their horsemanship experiences at our Saturday night dinner.

Twin cylinders coffee who helped us get our mornings started.

Two Brothers Mexican Restaurant in Sandy that kept Buck happy for dinner several nights.

A huge thank you to my wonderful friends Richard, Delora, and Casey Tatum who have helped me at every Buck clinic so far. I do not know how I would get by without them. This year we had some additional help from Dustin and Autumn Graham and Katona Anderson. Katona helped with many things along the way and each day of the clinic. Rylee was especially thankful to have her help in making sure all the horses were tucked in safe and sound each night.

My Momma for always being there at the ready to help with whatever is needed.

I will have to say it was a bit sad to not have any of my nieces at the clinic this year. They have been part of our clinic every year and have always been a great help.

And last, but not least, thank you to my 17-year-old daughter Rylee who stepped up and helped with all aspects of the clinic. She was up feeding horses at 6:30am, rode both classes, and checked in on all the horses before we left the barn each night at 10:30pm. Were so fortunate she has been able to have this amazing horsemanship journey in her life. Her feel and timing improve with every horse she works with. I am very proud of her accomplishments!

Hey all!

We want to thank all of the participants and the many spectators who joined us at the 2019 Buck Brannaman Clinic in Corvallis. It was another great clinic thanks to all of you. Every clinic Buck teaches offers some unique learning experience for us all. This year we got to watch Buck work with his c**t (Manny). What a treat! Seeing the changes he made each day was amazing! It's always amazing to watch Buck ride and work with any horse!

We also had the opportunity to watch the horse "divorce" as Buck puts it. I'm sure most people have experienced having a herd bound horse before and have not known how to fix it. Noah and Isaac worked with a couple of participant horses after class on Saturday to show all of us what they do as riders to help get herd bound horses to a better place. It was great to watch the horses become confident with them and not need their horse buddy.

There were lots of things Buck shared with us to improve our horsemanship skills throughout the clinic. One thing I hope all of you can remember Buck saying is "Never in history has a TROUBLED HORSE been fixed by pulling on two reins". He said it many times during our clinic. Especially when he was having everyone work on disengaging the hindquarters with one rein, AKA the one rein stop. He said "If you work on this and get good at it you'll always have it to go to if your horse ever gets into trouble".

We all had opportunity to look at, touch, and purchase some fine rawhide cowboy gear as Vince & Judy Donley of Donley Rawhide chose to spend the weekend at the Corvallis Buck clinic. Thank you to the Donley's for being part of our clinic and joining us for our group dinner Saturday night.

Many "Thanks" to Buck for all you share and give to all of us at each and every clinic. Also, a big “Thank you” to Isaac & Noah for all you do to help with the participants horses and keep things running smooth.

Thank you once again to our friends, Richard & Delora Tatum and my Mom, who have helped us at every clinic we’ve had.

We truly appreciate all of you!

We are planning for Buck to be back in the Valley summer 2021. Typically he's here around fourth of July weekend, so put it on your calendar! Once our dates are confirmed we’ll post them here along with a clinic location. We hope to see you there!

Until next time,
Deanna & Rylee
