👑 If you've ever wondered what a feline blood draw looks like... here's your answer!

Meet Ophelia, arriving in true queen fashion in her royal carriage. 🩷🐾

💉 Cats are commonly able to have blood drawn from the medial saphenous vein, located on the inside of the back leg. It allows us to collect a quality blood sample while keeping our feline patients as comfortable as possible.

If you know Ophelia, you know she's usually not a fan of being fussed with. But for this? She sat like the perfect little princess for her blood draw. 👑

And of course, once Her Majesty's royal duties were complete, Jess chauffeured her back in her carriage. Because queens don't walk... they ride. 😹

Can we all take a moment to appreciate Perseus? 😍

This 12-week-old fluff ball weighed in at just 4.13 pounds, proudly showed off his favorite fox stuffy, and completely won over the Lakeland team.
We may have been his first visit... but we have a feeling it won't be the last. 💙

We recently had the honor of welcoming K9 Officer Jack to Lakeland Animal Clinic for some well-deserved TLC grooming!

When he's not out serving and protecting our community alongside his handler, Jack is hard at work doing what he does best. Here at Lakeland, we were happy to give this hardworking boy a little time to relax and be pampered.

Now... we won't tell anyone this, but for all that bravery, Officer Jack was just a “tiny” bit suspicious of the blow dryer. 😅 Thankfully, Marra and Jack conquered that mission together, and he left looking as sharp as ever.

Thank you for your service, Jack! It was an honor to spoil one of our community's four-legged heroes. 💙✂️

Today, Dr. Malak is performing Hazel's emergency surgery after examining her, and just days ago he cared for Duke after his heartbreaking injuries.

Veterinary nursing is so much more than people think.

Behind every appointment are countless moments you never see—monitoring anesthesia, drawing blood, assisting in surgery, cleaning exam rooms, comforting nervous pets, running diagnostics, educating clients, and so much more while giving every patient the love they deserve.

It’s challenging. It’s messy. It’s rewarding.

And we wouldn’t trade it for anything. We have a small but mighty team here at Lakeland Animal Clinic and it’s because of our awesome clients that make everyday awesome ❤️🐾
