Main grooming area walls pretty much done. Ceiling is next!
With all the insulation and boards I have put up, there is at least an inch of extra on all walls and floor making it very insulated. It will stay cooler in the summer and it will not let any freezing air in during winter.
I am also going to build a counter for up front with cabinets for my tools and stuff. And I am going to put sliding doors on the bottom part of the tub for extra storage space.
My vision is coming to fruition.

I have not posted much in the last few months
I have been busy grooming dogs and building on my new trailer.
She is not finished yet. Here are some photos of my progress. I think she will turn out fabulous once completely done.
I wanted more of a cozy feel to my mobile salon.

My new grooming trailer is up and running. I still have some decor stuff to do to it. That will come over time. The important thing is that she is functional!
I am currently booking appointments. I am also taking on a few new clients, 25lbs and under and on a minimum of every 8 weeks grooming schedule.
I am looking forward to being back out there.

Slowly but surely the build is coming along. So much work. It will be worth it 🤞
Tomorrow I will finish putting up the insulation and plywood up on the remaining 2 walls. Then get more glue to attach the whiteboard. The wiring is set for the plugs and switches. Then I can start on the floor and build the tub wall.
It will go a lot faster once I finish the tedious and time consuming stuff. Once the floor and walls are done, I can put the trim in the corners and at the bottom of the walls.

The new build is coming along! So far I have insulated and covered the entire floor and one full wall. 3/4 of the other 2 walls are up and insulated. Next the electrical wiring gets laid out, outlets and switches placed. Then I can finish those walls.
So far, so good. My cuts are definitely much straighter than the first time around! So that is good! I am hoping to have her functional within the next couple of weeks! 🤞🙏

To say I drove through a storm yesterday was putting it mildly! This is the ice accumulation from it. It was not a good day to go. Thankfully, I made it home safe and I stayed on the road!
I went by multiple vehicles that had slid off the road or crashed.
Here she is, all cleaned up! I am ready for this new build!

Was it a good idea to drive to Utah today with winter storm warnings to pick up a new cargo trailer?
Nope! But I did it anyway!
I encountered every bad winter road condition you can think of, multiple times!
I made it safely home with the trailer! I will take photos of it tomorrow after I wash off the layers of ice I accumulated on the drive home.
