It's been a whirlwind since launching Lakehouse Services on April 1, and we're incredibly grateful for the support we've received.

One of the best parts of this journey has been meeting so many wonderful people around the lake and helping with a wide variety of projects. Every job is an opportunity to build new relationships, and we truly appreciate the trust our clients place in us.

This landscape refresh gave these beds a whole new look! We cleaned up the weeds, added colorful new plants, and finished everything off with my new favorite—black mulch.

Lakehouse Services | Feature Project: Tiger Lily

When we bought our cabin in 2012, there was a small patch of tiger lilies by the front door.

Every spring they return, and right around the Fourth of July they burst into bloom, adding a beautiful pop of color.

One of the projects I was most excited to tackle at our new lake house was giving these hardy perennials a new home. I'm so glad I had the energy to transplant them. Today, they line the rock stairway leading to the lake and wrap around our entire garage, bringing a little piece of our old cabin to our new home.

Some projects aren't just about landscaping—they're about carrying memories forward, one bloom at a time. 🌸

This week I'm getting my fill of feline love from Bert, Cinnamon, Merlin, Fireball, Spice, and Pumpkin. Each one has their own personality, and it's been such a joy spending time with this adorable crew!

I’ve added a few new animals to my care résumé! Meet Ginger, Maryann, and Helga—three adorable chickens that I’m looking after.

I’ve always wanted to have chickens of my own, so this has been the perfect trial run. It’s been a fun experience getting to know their personalities and learning more about their daily care. Looking forward to seeing what I learn from these ladies!
