Excellent rainy day alternative for the Daycare & Train and our Board & Train dogs to embark on an exciting field trip to Tractor Supply! 🐶🐾

We practiced our Cannine good Citizen Skills with the pups and leash reactivity for Crowley.

We focused on sitting politely for petting, walking through a crowd of people, walking by loud “scary” noises, down stay and of course, we played some games spin, twirl & get it!

They all did AMAZING! I love watching these dogs grow into well balanced dogs! ❤️❤️

🌺 This spring and summer, we will be upgrading and expanding our indoor/outdoor kennels to provide enhanced accommodations for our boarding dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Additionally, we will increase our kennel capacity to meet the demand for summer boarding while preserving the warm and personalized ambiance of our facility.

Our group classes are starting back up this week! How exciting!!

A quick reminder to bring high value treats (hot dogs, string cheese, cooked chicken breast - treats that your dogs normally do not get at home!  PLEASE avoid the treats that crumble. For the Agility class and dogs that don’t like treats please bring a tuggie toy for the reward ( if toy driven). And a 5-6 foot leash.

Remember we do not allow flexi leashes in the classroom!

All Group classes start at 6:30 PM. You may enter the facilty at 6:15 PM the earliest. If you arrive before then feel free to walk your dogs in the potty grass area by the porta potty.

Playtime should involve gentle interactions like sniffing, chasing, and short bouts of rough play with appropriate redirection if needed. 🥰

Due to their short attention spans, puppies benefit from multiple short playtime sessions throughout the day! We do not want the puppies to become “overstimulated”, so breaks, nap time and time outs are necessary.

This is the main reason we allow our Puppy STAR students to participate in puppy playtime as it is ALWAYS supervised and if needed we can step in.

During our training sessions, we keep them short and sweet. We don’t want to try to teach to much to fast, that only leads to frustration, confusion, and loss of interest. Set your puppy up for success and don’t expect to much from them to soon, they are babies!
