Next up on our Speaker Spotlight for UC Davis Horse Day is the Equine Medicine Club at UC Davis Veterinary School of Veterinary Medicine. This club is dedicated to advancing student knowledge and skills in the field of equine veterinary medicine. We provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, expert lectures, and networking events with professionals in the industry. Our mission is to support students' passion for equine medicine, ensuring that future veterinarians are well-prepared to excel in this specialized field. This year, the club will be teaching attendees how to perform an equine physical exam.

State is over and life is going back to normal.
All competition aside, great lessons were learned. My biggest take away from this past week was how well these girls took care of their horses and how close they became to each other. Whether they were winning, having a hard time or taking a green horse the girls made sure horses came first and helped each other every step of the way.
All 3 of these girls have a competitive spirit that is going to take them places in rodeo and in life, but being able to say that cultivating good positive attitudes is my biggest brag.
Congrats all three of ya! I’m very proud.
