Lou is one absolutely precious boy. AKC purebred True2Gold bred. He is a wonderful rescue. He’s 3 yrs old, neutered and passed his vet check today, although he is a little underweight. He should gain 7-10lbs - but he gained 13lbs last week! His family could not keep him due to a divorce. We rarely get a dog given back but I am so proud of his family for choosing to let him have a more stable environment rather than him being left alone all day. I have nothing negative to say to people who choose the best for their pets. Lou is extremely loving. He asks for hugs all the time. He does not want to be alone anymore. He needs a 24/7 companion. He would be an awesome therapy dog for anxiety, PTSD or a lonely person. He could be trained for epilepsy. Lou will be happy alone getting all the attention. He is not aggressive to other dogs - and loves all people and kids. He definitely wants to be loved on 24/7. Lou is active and enjoys a good run, so a yard is important. He really enjoys our 2X daily, 2 mile walks too. We are not pushing him because we need him to pack on some pounds. Someone is going to adopt this amazing young boy!
