We will be having our Margaret Mitchell spay/neuter sign ups on April 16th and April 30th! 2-4pm at Stegalls Pottery downtown!! We will also have our shirts for sale there too!!

The surgeries will be scheduled for the month of May!!

Cats are $70 and dogs are $80! Rabies are included in those prices! You can purchase add on services including microchipping!!

Some frequently asked questions:
• What do I need to bring to the sign up?
You will need your photo ID/ Drivers license and the form of payment. You must be a Unicoi County resident to sign up!
• Do I need to bring my pet at the sign ups?
No! You will bring your pet the date of the surgery!

Unicoi County Animal Shelter would like to be able to give away some free spay and neuters to members of our community. We might not be open and functional but we haven’t stopped working.

A dog can have up to 2 litters a year. A cat can have up to 3 litters a year. If you can’t find homes for them, how do you expect us to?

If you would like to help, $5 will go a long way. The more money we raise, the more animals we will be able to spay or neuter.

🚨FOSTERS NEEDED🚨

Two males and 1 female mix breed dogs. They are only 20ish pounds currently, thin and neglected. They have no socialization skills. They are around 1-2 years old. They will need patience! They will be like a puppy that has to learn everything new once they trust you.

They have not charged us one bill since the flood happened. If we have an adoption, they squeeze us in immediately for boosters and rabies! We can’t thank them enough!

We can’t thank everyone enough for their donations and the grants we have been rewarded.
Petco love granted us $30,000 for our rebuild! We are so grateful to everyone that is assisting us in this difficult process.
