We are currently 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙬 on available foster homes, and we can’t help more Great Danes without your help! 💔

Kentucky Great Dane Rescue does not have a facility — every dog we take in goes directly into a loving foster home until they find their forever family. Fosters are absolutely the heart of what we do.

𝗪𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲:
✅ All vet care (through our approved vets)
✅ Supplies for the dog
✅ Support throughout the foster process

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲:
• A safe, loving temporary home
• Help getting the dog to vet visits & meet and greets with approved adopters
• Compassion and care for a Dane in need
• Train the foster dog if needed (crate training, potty training, walking on a leash, etc.)

🌷 Spring Into Love Adoption Special🌷

New season. New beginnings. New best friend.

Today through Sunday, April 19, all cats and dogs over the age of 6 months old have $10 adoption fees.

🩷 Princess – 5 ½ year old spayed female. Unknown of how she would do in crate as owner has never needed to crate her. Is housebroken. Loves riding in the car. Can be shy of strangers at first but is then playful. Great with children. Good with other dogs & cats. [Waiting for foster since 4/9/2026]

🩷 Bella – 6 ½ yr old spayed female. Housebroken & crate trained but can also be left out with no destruction. Adores children! Gets along with other dogs & cats. [Waiting for foster since 4/13/2026]

💙 Walter - 4 1/2 yr old neutered male. Housebroken & crate trained, although will chew up things left in the crate with him. Evaluation with children would be needed; does fine with children in current home. Does well with other dogs; has never been around cats. Had tail docked last year. Possessive over “his human”; will need Dane experienced home that can work with him on this behavior. [Waiting for foster since 3/10/2026]

‼️‼️REHOMING POST‼️‼️

Friends we need your help!

Rhea(age 5) and Duke(age 3) are a bonded pair needing to find a new home.

Both Rhea and Duke are past puppies of ours and we’d like to see them go to a home together if at all possible.

Rhea just turned 5 in December. Shes a Merle Dane who is on the more timid side, but a good butt scratch brings her out of her shell. She is spayed and has had her gastropexy performed.

Duke just turned 3 in November. He’s a blue Dane who is still a pup at heart. He is not neutered and has not had a gastropexy.

Both are coming due for vaccines.

If you or someone you know are interested in giving them a home please contact us ASAP!
