Buzz N’ B’s Aquarium & Pet Shop is a family owned business that opened in 1974 in a small storefront on West 8th Street. The store moved to West 26th Street in 1975, and relocated to 2500 Yoder Drive in 1993. We carry a wide variety of products for all of these pets along with dog and cat supplies. 🍃💦Aquatic Plant Feature 🍃💦

Water lettuce rosette (Pistia stratiotes) is a very popular outdoor pond plant! These plants are free-floating with soft leaves that look like a head of lettuce, hence the name “Watter Lettuce”! These plants are great at eating up excess nutrients in any system and help clean up the water a bit. Their long roots make great cover for fish to hide and breed in! Be careful though, these plants will multiply like crazy when they are very happy! Stop in today to check out our selection! 🍃

As the weather is warming, we are getting ready for pond season! Koi (Cyprinus sp.) are a very popular pond fish! Koi is just a fancy name for an ornamental carp! There are many different varieties and colors of koi! From fancy longfin panda mayan koi to the sparkly, metallic ginrin koi, there is a type for everyone! 💦

Koi can reach up to three feet in length so they need an appropriate sized outdoor pond for them to truly be happy. Koi are also social animals so they need a friend or two to bring out their true behavior and colors! They are also herbivores so be prepared for them to have a little snack on certain pond plants!

As soon as your pond reaches over 60°F, come stop on in and find the perfect koi to accent your pond!🌤️ ☀️
